BESONDERE FÄHIGKEITEN


Empyreisches Verständnis (AF[link120]) Empyrier verstehen die Handlungsweisen von Kreaturen bestens, was ihnen auch im Kampf nützt. Ein Empyrier erhält einen Verständnisbonus auf seine Rüstungsklasse in Höhe seines Charismabonus.

Herbeirufung ignorieren (AF[link120]) Empyrier sind uralte Wesen und dienen direkt den Göttern. Sie sind gegen alle Zauber der Kategorie Herbeirufung[link121] immun, außer sie lassen sich rufen.

Strahlende Waffen (AF[link120]) Ein Empyrier lädt seine Waffen mit seinem inneren Licht auf. Von ihm geführte Waffen erhalten die besonderen Eigenschaften Gande[link16] und Heilig[link14]. Er kann die Eigenschaft Gnade[link16] auf übliche Art per Befehlswort unterdrücken. Für Bögen oder andere Fernkampfwaffen in seinem Besitz benötigt er keine Munition, da er flammende Lichtpfeile verschießen kann. Die Waffen eines Empyriers werden behandelt als besäßen sie die besondere Eigenschaft Strahlendes Licht[link122], sofern dies für ihn von Vorteil ist.

Strahlender Leib (AF[link120]) Jeder Empyrier besteht aus der uralten Essenz des Guten. Sein strahlender Leib verschmilzt perfekt mit seiner Rüstung und Kleidung und bildet so ein Ganzes. Er erhält einen heiligen Bonus auf seine Rüstungsklasse in Höhe des Gesamtrüstungsbonus seiner aufgeladenen Rüstung (meistens +14 durch eine aufgeladene Ritterrüstung +5); ferner unterliegt er keine Mali oder Einschränkungen durch die getragene Rüstung. Ein Empyrier kann niemals einen Rüstungsbonus oder Natürlichen Rüstungsbonus auf seine Rüstungsklasse erhalten.

Zauber Empyrier wirken göttliche Zauber wie Kleriker[link123] der 20. Stufe, erhalten aber keine weiteren Klerikerfähigkeiten wie z.B. Zugang zu Domänen[link124].

Empyrier sind ein Volk uralter Engel, welche von den Göttern lange vor der Entstehung der Sterblichen geschaffen wurde. Sie dienen außerhalb der normalen Befehlskette in den himmlischen Heerscharen. Empyrier sind 4,50 m groß und kleiden sich wie Sterbliche, um ihren strahlenden Gestalten eine Form zu geben, die Sterbliche und andere Engel leicht verstehen können. Sie sind die körperlichen Manifestationen der guten Energie einer Gottheit oder eines göttlichen Wesens und sind nur dieser höheren Macht gegenüber rechenschaftspflichtig.
Während andere Engel aus einer Vermengung guter Seelen oder der Seele eines aufgefahrenen Sterblichen entstehen, ist die Geburt eines neues Empyriers ein gewaltiges Ereignis, da es nur dazu kommt, wenn ein anderer Empyrier getötet wird. Um diese Leere zu füllen, werden die übrigen Empyrier vorübergehend für die Energie anderer guter Gottheiten empfänglich, bei denen es sich nicht um ihre eigenen Schöpfer handelt. Ein zufällig ausgewählter unter den derart aufgeladenen Empyrier teilt sich schließlich, wobei sein Abkömmling viele seiner Erinnerungen und Wesenszüge besitzt, in seiner Macht aber von jener Gottheit beeinflusst wird, welche seine Entstehung ausgelöst hat.
Empyrier dienen Gottheiten als Agenten und Beauftragte, die sich um wichtige Aufträge kümmern, welche insbesondere Überblick und langfristige Planung erfordern. Im Gegensatz zu Solaren, welche oft zu Jägern des Bösen werden, suchen Empyrier nur selten den Kampf – doch wenn sie es tun, dann nutzen sie in der Regel die bevorzugten Waffen ihrer Gottheiten.

Empyreische Paragone

Empyreische Paragone gehören zu den mächtigsten Dienern guter Gottheiten, daher kann eine Gottheit über maximal einen Paragon verfügen. Der HG von Paragonen variiert von HG 23 bis HG 30. Jeder Paragon verfügt über eine einzigartige Fähigkeit abhängig von der jeweiligen Gottheit, z.B.:

Paragon der Morgendämmerung (AF[link120]) Der Paragon strahlt wie die Sonne und gibt Licht in einem Radius von bis zu 1,5 km ab, welches automatisch alle Effekte der Kategorie Dunkelheit durchdringt und bannt. Diese Licht zählt als wahres Sonnenlicht (und könnte somit z.B. Untote verletzen, die gegenüber Sonnenlicht empfindlich sind).

Paragon der Rose (ÜF[link125]) Der Paragon ist von Rosenblüten und Singvögeln umgeben. Er erlangt eine Aura mit 9 m Radius, welche die Effekte von Fröhliche Gelassenheit[link126]EXP besitzt und auf Kreaturen wirkt, die innerhalb der Aura sind, plus 1W4 Runden, nachdem sie diese verlassen haben, einwirkt. Einer Kreatur steht ein Willenswurf zu, um den Effekt für sich zu beenden Doch lässt sie ihn normal auslaufen, kann sie die Effekte von Buße[link20] akzeptieren, um ihre Gesinnung zu Neutral Gut zu verändern. In jedem Fall ist die Kreatur nach Ablauf der Wirkungsdauer für 24 Stunden gegen die Effekte dieser Fähigkeit immun.

Paragon des Schildes (AF[link120]) Die Schutzaura des Paragons ist außergewöhnlich machtvoll. Sie verhängt sich wie Kugel der Unverwundbarkeit[link127] anstelle der schwächeren Version dieses Effektes. Alle Verbündeten innerhalb der Aura erleiden nur halben Schaden durch alle Angriffe (der Paragon selbst ist hiervon ausgenommen).

Paragon des Schwertes (ÜF[link125], ZF[link128]) Die Klinge des Paragons wird von Ehre angetrieben. Der Paragon ist rechtschaffen gut und erhält als ständige zauberähnliche Fähigkeit Würde des Streiters[link129] verleihenABR. Ferner zählt er als Paladin[link130] der 20.
Stufe hinsichtlich Hand auflegen[link131] und Böses niederstrecken[link132] und kann beides wie ein Paladin[link130] der 20. Stufe oft einsetzen
