Basteln (ZF[link3]) Ein Gruppe von sechs Jinkins kann gemeinsam im Laufe einer Stunde einen Effekt erschaffen und ein beliebiges Lebewesen mit diesem belegen, welcher dem Zauber Fluch[link29] entspricht. Der Effekt wirkt auf ZS 6. Das Ziel muss entweder bereitwillig oder hilflos[link30] sein (erhält aber immer einen Rettungswurf[link31], um zu widerstehen). Der SG des Rettungswurfes beträgt 14 + der CH-Modifikator[link32] des Jinkins mit dem höchsten Charismawert[link33] in der Gruppe (meistens SG 16). Alternativ kann die Jinkingruppe auch einen magischen Gegenstand[link34] mit einem Fluch belegen. Die Natur des Fluches wird zufällig bestimmt: zu 50% wird der Gegenstand unzuverlässig (wenn er benutzt werden soll, funktioniert er mit einer Wahrscheinlichkeit von 20% nicht), ansonsten erhält der Gegenstand zufällig eine Voraussetzung zu seinem Gebrauch (siehe Verfluchte Gegenstände)[link35]. Ein Jinkin kann nur einmal pro Tag am Basteln teilnehmen und kann auch nur jene Wesen und Gegenstände verfluchen, auf denen noch kein Fluch liegt. Wenn ein Bastelfluch gewirkt wurde, ist er dauerhaft, bis er durch einen Effekt wie Fluch brechen[link36] aufgehoben wird. Alle Basteleien funktionieren wie Flüche[link37], die ein Zauberkundiger der 6. Stufe wirkt.
Jinkins sind hinterhältige und sadistische hässliche Gremlins, welche die dunklen Orte unter der Erde bewohnen. Sie sind gut an die Schatten angepasst, verbergen sich in engen Unterkünften und greifen größere Wesen von strategisch günstigen Positionen an.
Jinkins arbeiten meist mit oder in der Nähe von größeren oder mächtigeren Wesen, die ihnen als Sündenböcke für ihre Tricksereien dienen. Sollte ein Kampf für sie schlecht ausgehen, nutzen sie Dimensionstür[link12] zur Flucht und nehmen alles Diebesgut mit sich.
Jinkins lieben es, größere Wesen in gefährliche Höhlen oder Gruben zu locken, meist indem sie aus den Schatten hervorspringen und einen einzelnen hinterhältigen Angriff ausführen und dann „flüchten“, wobei sie darauf achten, dass sie für ihr Ziel sichtbar bleiben, um es dann in eine Falle[link19] locken.
Diese Gremlins sind auch sehr nachtragend und könnten Wesen, von denen sie sich beleidigt fühlen, wochenlang folgen, bis sich eine Gelegenheit zur Rache ergibt. Diese kann viele Formen annehmen – Pferde scheu machen, Nahrungs- und Wasservorräte ungenießbar machen, Wasserquellen verunreinigen oder dem Wesen größere Monster auf den Hals hetzen.
Zu den direktesten und unerwünschtesten Rachearten der Jinkins gehört das Vernichten oder Fluch magischer Gegenstände. Oft beobachten sie lagernde Feinde aus der Entfernung, um dann entweder einen Gegenstand zu stehlen und ihn zu verändern, oder um ihre Fähigkeit Basteln aus der Ferne anzuwenden. Damit verärgern sie zu ihrer Belustigung den Besitzer des Gegenstandes. Sobald ein Jinkin einen gestohlenen Gegenstand sabotiert hat, langweilt er sich rasch damit oder könnte versuchen, ihn seinem Eigentümer zurückzugeben. Die Verstecke der Jinkins sind oft voll von gestohlenen und verfluchten Gegenständen, an welche die Jinkins sich selbst schon gar nicht mehr erinnern. Zwerge[link38] hassen Jinkins besonders, in den Geschichten ihres Volkes gibt es viele Erzählungen über von Gremlins verschuldete Tragödien. Der Hass ist aber größtenteils beidseitig. Ein durchschnittlicher Jinkin ist fast 60 cm groß und wiegt etwa 13 Pfund.
Dieses hässliche, bucklige Wesen hat drei glühende, blaue Augen. Auf seinem Kopf und dem Rücken wächst öliges Haar, welches es wie einen Mantel bedeckt.

Kniebrecher (AF[link50]) Ein Nuglub erhält einen Volksbonus von +4 auf Kampfmanöverwürfe, um einen Gegner zu Fall zu bringen.
Die Gremlins des Volkes der Nuglub sind zurückgeblieben – sie lieben den Kampf mit einer Begeisterung, welche andere Gremlins sich für die Zerstörung von Gerätschaften oder die Erschaffung[link51] umfangreicher Fallen[link19] vorbehalten. Genau genommen verbringen sie viele Stunden damit, ihre Krallen zu schärfen, die Zähne spitz zu feilen und nach dem perfekten Platz zu suchen, von dem aus sie ins Getümmel springen können. Sollte der Kampf nicht zu ihnen kommen, so suchen sie nach ihm, indem sie nachts in Dörfer eindringen und Unschuldige ermorden. Unter „Spaß haben“ verstehen sie, ein Opfer so still und heimlich zu ermorden, dass es nicht dabei aufwacht, sondern erst am nächsten Morgen vom Rest der Familie gefunden wird und die Familienangehörigen sich sodann gegenseitig der furchtbaren Schandtat bezichtigen.
Nuglubs greifen gerüstete Gegner voller Eifersucht an, da es ihnen ihre Buckel fast unmöglich machen, selbst Rüstungen anzulegen, die für andere Humanoide gemacht wurden. Eine Gruppe könnte ihre Fähigkeiten Metall erhitzen[link42] und Schockgriff[link44] nutzen, um einen Gegner zu schwächen, ehe sie sich von allen Seiten kommend auf ihn stürzen und versuchen, ihn zu Fall zu bringen. Sobald ein Gegner am Boden liegt, fallen alle Nuglubs voll Blutlust über ihn her, drücken weiterhin ihn zu Boden und beißen wie perverse Blutegel solange zu, bis nichts mehr übrig ist.
Obwohl sie weniger der Technik zugeneigt sind als manche ihrer Verwandten, verwenden auch Nuglubs gerne Fallen[link19]. Statt existierende Maschinen zu sabotieren, gewinnen sie Freude daraus, heimlich Fallen[link19] an Orten auszulegen, von denen ihre Opfer glauben, mit ihnen vertraut zu sein – diese schmerzhaften und oft tödlichen Überraschung en stellen sie z.B. an Haustüren auf, am Boden neben Betten oder auch nahe Kinderkrippen in Kinderzimmern.
Nuglubs sind die Schläger unter den Gremlinvölkern. Da sie dazu neigen, sich untereinander zu streiten und sogar jene aufzufressen, welche bei Streitereien unterliegen, sind Nuglubgruppen nie sonderlich groß. Einzelne Nuglubs arbeiten oft mit anderen Gremlins zusammen, da sie gerne ihre Stärke unter Beweis stellen. Interessanterweise zeigen sie keine besondere Neigung, ihre kleineren Verbündeten töten und auffressen zu wollen (allerdings hält sie das nicht davon ab, an von anderen Wesen getöteten Gremlins ein wenig zu knabbern). Nuglubs sind in der Regel 0,75 m groß und wiegen etwa 25 Pfund.
Diese kränklich wirkende Kreatur schleicht vorsichtig vorwärts. Siesieht aus, als hätte der hässlichste Schoßhund der Welt irgendwiegelernt, auf seinen Hinterbeinen zu gehen.

Unglücksaura (ÜF[link61]) Ein Pugwampi strahlt eine Aura des Unglücks mit einem Radius von 6 m aus. Jede Kreatur im Wirkungsbereich muss stets mit zwei W20 würfeln, wenn ein Wurf mit einem W20 ansteht (z.B. bei einem Angriffs-[link62], Fertigkeits-[link63] oder Rettungswurf[link31]), und das niedrigere Ergebnis verwenden. Dies ist ein geistesbeeinflussender Effekt, der nicht gegen Tiere[link64], andere Gremlins oder Gnolle wirkt. Jede Kreatur, welche einen Glücksbonus besitzt (z.B. durch Göttliche Gunst[link65] oder einen Glücksstein[link66]), ist gegen diese Aura immun.
Niemand liebt Pugwampis – nicht einmal andere Gremlins. Sie sind gemein, feige und haben Hundegesichter. Diese Gremlins ziehen unglaubliche Freude und Begeisterung aus den Unfällen und Fehltritten anderer Wesen und unternehmen häufig große Anstrengungen, um die perfekte Stolperstelle oder Fallen[link19] zu errichten, welche Steine oder andere Dinge auf ihre Opfer herabregnen lassen. Dann legen sie sich in der Nähe auf die Lauer, um über das unvermeidbare Missgeschick lachen zu können und sicherzustellen, dass ihr persönliches Unglück auf ihre Opfer übergeht.
Pugwampis leben in Höhlen und Ruinen[link23]. Ab und an ziehen sie aus, um Opfer für ihren kranken Sinn für Humor zu finden. Ihre „Scherze“ beinhalten meist Dornen, Stacheln und Exkremente, aber auch Gruben voller Spinnen oder Lagerplätze, die von Sumpfwasser überflutet werden. Natürlich sehen nur sie selbst ihre Späße als witzig an.
Alle Pugwampis sind schwerhörig – wenn sie nicht gerade versuchen, heimlich vorzugehen, neigen sie dazu, laut zu schreien und zu brüllen, um sich selbst und einander zu hören.
Seit fernster Vergangenheit fühlen Pugwampis sich zu Gnollen[link67] hingezogen. Sie sehen in den Tierleuten verwandte Gestalten und wünschen sich, die Größe und das tödliche Können dieser von ihnen als Götter verehrten primitiven Krieger[link68] zu erlangen. Gnolle hingegen hassen Pugwampis noch mehr als alle anderen Wesen, hauptsächlich aufgrund der Schwäche und übelkeiterregenden Stiefelleckerei dieser Gremlins. Manchmal lassen sie sie aber auch in ihre Nähe, allerdings nur, um sie zu quälen.
Dieser gemeine kleine Insektoide hat einen Kopf wie ein zornigerHummer und klappert und rasselt mit einem winzigen, aber kräftig wirkenden Hammer.

Abrisstrupp (ÜF[link61]) Eine Gruppe von bis zu sechs Vexgits kann beim Zerlegen eines Mechanismus zusammenarbeiten. Diese Fähigkeit funktioniert wie die Aktion Jemand anderem helfen[link77], allerdings kann ein einzelner Vexgit die Hilfe von bis zu fünf anderen erhalten, wodurch er einen Bonus von bis zu +10 auf seinen Wurf für Mechanismus ausschalten[link22] erhalten würde.
Schnelle Sabotage (ÜF[link61]) Vexgits sind sehr begabt darin, Maschinen auseinander zu nehmen – selbst komplexe Gerätschaften können sie mit erschreckendem Tempo in einen Haufen Gerümpel zerlegen. Wenn ein Vexgit die Fertigkeit Mechanismus ausschalten[link22] verwendet, behandelt er zur Bestimmung der Zerlegungsdauer alle Mechanismen so, als wären sie eine Stufe einfacher: schwierige Mechanismen gelten als raffiniert, raffinierte als einfach und einfache Mechanismen können mit einer Freien Aktion zerlegt werden.
Vexgits sind manisch zerstörerische kleine Schläger, die es lieben, die Werke der größeren Völker zu sabotieren und zu zerlegen. Ihr Spaß daran ist umso höher, je größer und komplizierter das Ziel ist. Ein einzelner dieser hasserfüllten Gremlins mag sich damit zufrieden geben, jemanden hinter einer Tür einzusperren, indem er das Schloss[link78] blockiert, die Räder einer Kutsche[link79] zu lockern oder klammheimlich alle Nägel aus einem kleinen Boot zu entfernen. Doch wenn mehrere von ihnen zusammenkommen, wird es wirklich gefährlich. Dann wird das Fallgitter eines von Vexgits befallenen Torhauses zu einer tödlichen Waffe, während ein Glockenturm zu einem Haufen von Zahnrädern wird, der nur darauf wartet, wie ein Erdrutsch über jemandem zusammenzustürzen. Baumeister warnen ihre Schüler vor meisterhaften Konstruktionen, die von diesen gemeinen Gremlins zerstört wurden, wobei viele ihre größten Fehlschläge den kleinen Saboteuren anlasten.
Wie die meisten Gremlins ziehen auch Vexgits es vor, unter der Erde zu leben. Jedoch zieht es sie oft in die Städte[link5], welche sie auch wegen der dort zu findenden Mechanismen faszinieren, so dass Mobs dieser gefährlichen Feenwesen[link1] sich in der Kanalisation und verlassenen Lagerhäusern niederlassen.
Ein Vexgit ist 45 cm groß und wiegt etwa 16 Pfund.
