Bittsteller-Eigenschaften Ein Bittsteller verfügt abhängig von seiner Heimatebene über zusätzliche Fähigkeiten und Merkmale. Seine Gesinnung[link1] stimmt mit der Gesinnung[link1] seiner Heimatebene überein.

Bittsteller sind die Seelen Sterblicher, die nach ihrem Tod auf die Äußeren Ebenen gebracht werden, um dort ihre endgültige Strafe, Belohnung oder ihr endgültiges Schicksal zu erfahren. Ein Bittsteller erinnert sich an Bruchstücke seines Lebens. Sein Äußeres richtet sich nicht nur nach der Gestalt, die er zu Lebzeiten besaß, sondern auch nach dem Wesen der Ebene, auf die er gelangt ist. Die Spielwerte weiter oben repräsentieren den typischen Bittsteller, der aus der Seele eines durchschnittlichen Menschen[link11] entsteht – sie enthalten keine ebenenspezifischen Fähigkeiten und Merkmale, welche ein Bittsteller erhält, und sollten an die Ebene angepasst werden, welche dem Bittsteller zugewiesen wurde.

Wesen, die zu Bittstellern werden und dann ins Leben zurückkehren, besitzen keine Erinnerungen an ihre Zeit im Leben nach dem Tode. Ein Bittsteller, der stirbt, ist für immer tot[link12] – seine „Lebenskraft“ ist entweder auf die Ebene der Positiven Energie zurückgekehrt oder liefert in manchen Fällen die nötige Energie, um die Erschaffung eines anderen Externaren[link2] zu ermöglichen. Bittsteller, welche die Gunst einer Gottheit oder eines anderen mächtigen Externaren[link2] erringen, können belohnt werden. Die häufigste Belohnung ist die Verwandlung in einen anderen Externaren[link2] wie einen Archonten[link13], Azata[link14], Dämonen[link15] oder Teufel[link16]. Dies hängt von der Gesinnung[link1] des Bittstellers ab. In äußerst seltenen Fällen kann ein Wesen seine Persönlichkeit während des ganzen Weges seiner Existenz als Bittsteller und gar in sein drittes „Leben“ hinein sogar erhalten.

Erschaffung eines Bittstellers

„Bittsteller“ ist ein erworbene Schablone, welche jedes Wesen (im weiteren als Basiskreatur bezeichnet) erlangen kann, dessen Seele nach dem Tod auf eine der Äußeren Ebenen gelangt. Ein Bittsteller verwendet die Spielwerte und Fähigkeiten der Basiskreatur, sofern nicht im Folgenden anders angegeben:

HG: Der HG eines Bittstellers ist 1. Große oder ungewöhnliche Bittsteller mit Attributswerten jenseits des Normalen können nach Maßgabe des SL einen höheren HG besitzen – vergleiche die Spielwerte des Bittstellers mit den Werten auf Tabelle: Monsterwerte nach HG[link17], um den Start-HG eines ungewöhnlichen Bittstellers zu bestimmen.

Gesinnung: Die Gesinnung[link1] eines Bittstellers entspricht der Gesinnung[link1] seiner Heimatebene.

Art und Größe: Die Art der Kreatur[link18] verändert sich zu Externar[link2], sie verliert alle Unterarten[link19]. Ihre Größe verändert sich nicht.

Sinne: Bittsteller verlieren alle außergewöhnlichen Sinne, die sie besessen haben, und erhalten Dunkelsicht[link4] 18 m.

Rüstungsklasse: Bittsteller verlieren alle Volksboni auf ihre Rüstungsklasse[link20].

Trefferwürfel: Bittsteller verlieren alle volks- und klassenbasierten Trefferwürfel und erhalten 2W10 als Volkstrefferwürfel als Externare[link2].

Rettungswürfe: Bittsteller haben gute Reflex- und Zähigkeitswürfe[link21]; die Basis-Rettungswürfe eines Bittstellers sind REF +3, WIL +0, ZÄH +3

Verteidigungsfähigkeiten: Bittsteller verlieren alle Verteidigungsfähigkeiten der Basis-Kreatur. Bittsteller sind immun gegen geistesbeeinflussende Effekte.

Angriffe: Der GAB der Kreatur ist +2 und unterliegt Modifikatoren für Größe und Stärke[link22]. Sie verliert alle natürlichen Angriffe und erhält einen ihrer Größe angemessenen Hiebangriff.

Besondere Angriffe: Bittsteller verlieren alle besonderen Angriffe.

Attribute: Entsprechend der Basiskreatur.

Talente: Bittsteller verlieren alle Talente, die sie als Sterbliche besessen haben. Als Externar[link2] mit 2 TW erhält ein Bittsteller ein Talent – in der Regel Abhärtung[link6].

Fertigkeiten: Bittsteller verlieren alle Fertigkeitsränge, die sie als Sterbliche besessen haben. Als Externare[link2] mit 2 TW besitzen Bittsteller 12 Fertigkeitsränge, die sie auf Fertigkeiten verteilen können (Maximum 2 Ränge pro Fertigkeit). Sie erhalten Bonusfertigkeitsränge entsprechend ihrer Intelligenz[link23]. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Externaren[link2] erhalten sie keine zusätzlichen 4 Klassenfertigkeiten über jene hinaus, die allen Externaren[link2] offen stehen.

Besondere Eigenschaften: Bittsteller verlieren alle besonderen Eigenschaften und alle Fähigkeiten, die sie aufgrund von Klassenstufen erhalten haben (eingeschlossen Verbesserungen bei Rettungswürfen[link21], TW und GAB).


Eigenschaften von Bittstellern

Ein Bittsteller erhält entsprechend seiner Heimatebene zusätzliche Eigenschaften:

Abaddon (Neutral Böse): Die „Gejagten“ haben Körper, welche denen entsprechen, die sie zu Lebzeiten besaßen. Die Bittsteller sind dazu verdammt, von Daimonen[link24] verfolgt und schlussendlich verschlungen zu werden, denen es nach ihren Seelen gelüstet. Ein Gejagter, der lange genug überlebt, verwandelt sich schließlich selbst in einen Daimon[link24]. Ein Gejagter erhält SR 5/- und Schnelle Heilung[link25] 1, so dass er den daimonischen Jägern ein wenig länger widerstehen und ihnen mehr Jagdvergnügen bieten kann.

Abyss (Chaotisch Böse): „Larvae“ sind die wahrscheinlich grässlichsten aller Bittsteller – sie erscheinen als bleiche, madenähnliche Kreaturen mit Köpfen, die denen ähneln, welche sie zu Lebzeiten besaßen. Larvae, die sich lange genug von abyssischem Schmutz ernähren, verwandeln sich irgendwann in Dämonen[link15]. Sie haben Elektrizitäts-, Feuer- und Kälteresistenz[link26] 10. Statt eines Hiebangriffes erhalten sie einen Bissangriff passend zu ihrer Größe.

Elysium (Chaotisch Gut): Die „Erkorenen“ besitzen idealisierte Versionen ihrer sterblichen Leiber. Mit der Zeit werden sie zu Azata[link14], nachdem sie die Freuden des Elysiums genießen konnten. Die Erkorenen erhalten Feuer- und Kälteresistenz[link26] 10 und einen Bonus von +2 auf Charisma[link27].

Fegefeuer (Neutral): Die „Toten“ erscheinen als belebte Skelette, sind aber keine Untoten. Mit der Zeit können sie sich das Recht erwerben, zu Aionen zu werden. Sie erhalten SR 10/Wuchtwaffen und Immunität gegen Kälte.

Himmel (Rechtschaffen Gut): Die „Erwählten“ scheinen ihrer einst sterblichen Gestalt ähnlich zu sein, besitzen nun aber zudem einen goldenen Heiligenschein und fedrige Schwingen. Wenn sie genug Zeit damit verbracht haben, himmlische Aufgaben zu erfüllen, werden sie zu Archonten[link13]. Sie erhalten eine Flugbewegungsrate entsprechend ihrer Grundbewegungsrate (durchschnittliche Manövrierfähigkeit).

Hölle (Rechtschaffen Böse): Die „Verdammten“ behalten ihre sterbliche Gestalt bei, tragen aber schwere Narben von verschiedenen Folterungen. Jene, die die Qualen der Hölle lange genug ertragen, erhalten eventuell die Genehmigung, in Teufel[link16] verwandelt zu werden. Ein Verdammter ist immun gegen Feuer (nicht aber gegen die mit Verbrennungen einhergehenden Schmerzen – wenn ein Verdammter Feuerschaden nehmen würde, muss er einen Zähigkeitswurf[link21] gegen SG 15 bestehen, um nicht für 1W4 Runden vor Schmerz Betäubt[link28] zu sein).

Limbus (Chaotisch Neutral): Die „Formlosen“ behalten ihre Ausgangsgestalt, allerdings unterliegt diese einem ständigen Wabern und Schimmern, als wären sie Geister, die von Auflösung[link29] bedroht sind. Nachdem sie sich lange genug im Chaos des Limbus gesuhlt haben, können sie sich in Proteaner[link30] verwandeln. Die Formlosen erhalten die Unterart Körperlos[link31] und alle damit verbundenen Verteidigungsfähigkeiten.

Nirwana (Neutral Gut): Die „Gereinigten“ nehmen die Gestalt jener Tiere[link32] an, die ihrer Persönlichkeit am nächsten sind. Wenn sie wahre Erleuchtung erlangen, verwandeln sie sich in Agathionen. Die Gereinigten erhalten Kälte- und Schallresistenz[link26] 10 und einen Bonus von +2 auf Weisheit[link33].

Utopia (Rechtschaffen Neutral): Die „Neuerschaffenen“ behalten ihre Körperform bei, haben jedoch milchig weiße Haut, die von schwarzen Schriftzeichen dicht bedeckt ist, als hätte ein merkwürdiger Schreiber sie als Pergament benutzt. Wenn ein Neuerschaffener die Rätsel entziffern kann, vor welche ihn die umfangreichen Schriften stellen, darf er eine Schmiede der Axiomiten betreten, wo er in einen Unvermeidbaren verwandelt wird. Die Neuerschaffenen sind immun gegen feindliche Verwandlungseffekte und erhalten einen Bonus von +2 auf Intelligenz[link23].
