Traglast

Die Belastungsregeln bestimmen, wie stark ein Charakter durch seine Ausrüstung verlangsamt wird. Belastung ergibt sich aus zwei Teilen: Belastung aus der Rüstung und Belastung aus dem Gesamtgewicht.

Belastung durch Rüstung: Die Rüstung eines Charakters bestimmt seinen maximalen Geschicklichkeitsbonus[link1] auf seine RK[link2], den Rüstungsmalus, die Bewegungsrate und die Geschwindigkeit, die man beim Rennen (siehe Tabelle unten) erreichen kann. Solange dein Charakter nicht schwach ist oder eine Menge an Ausrüstung mit sich trägt, ist dies alles, was du wissen musst. Die zusätzliche Ausrüstung, die dein Charakter mit sich trägt, wird ihn nicht stärker beeinträchtigen, als es seine Rüstung sowieso schon tut.

Ist dein Charakter schwach oder trägt er viel Ausrüstung, dann wird es allerdings nötig sein, die Behinderung durch das Gesamtgewicht zu berechnen. Dies wird besonders wichtig, wenn dein Charakter versucht, einen schweren Gegenstand zu tragen.

Belastung durch Gewicht: Wenn du bestimmen willst, ob die Ausrüstung deines Charakters ausreichend ist, um ihn noch stärker zu beeinträchtigen, als es seine Rüstung sowieso schon tut, addierst du das Gewicht aller Gegenstände des Charakters auf, einschließlich Rüstung, Waffen und Ausrüstung. Vergleiche diesen Gesamtwert mit der Stärke[link3] des Charakters auf Tabelle: Traglast. Abhängig davon, wie sich das Gesamtgewicht zu der möglichen Traglast des Charakters verhält, kann es sein, dass er eine leichte, eine mittlere oder eine schwere Last trägt. Ähnlich wie bei Rüstungen wirkt sich die Last eines Charakters auf seinen maximal anrechenbaren Geschicklichkeitsbonus[link1] auf seine RK[link2] und in Form eines Malus auf Fertigkeitswürfe[link4] aus (der wie ein Rüstungsmalus funktioniert), verringert die Bewegungsrate und wirkt sich ebenfalls auf die Geschwindigkeit aus, die der Charakter beim Rennen erreichen kann, wie man der Tabelle: Auswirkung der Traglast entnehmen kann. Eine mittlere oder schwere Last zählt wie eine mittlere, oder schwere Rüstung in Hinsicht auf Attribute[link5] oder Fertigkeiten[link6], die durch Rüstung beschränkt werden. Eine leichte Last zu tragen behindert einen Charakter nicht. Sollte dein Charakter Rüstung tragen, dann wird der schlechtere Wert von beiden Kategorien (von Rüstung oder Last) angewandt. Die Mali sind nicht kumulativ.

Heben und ziehen: Ein Charakter kann ein Gewicht über seinen Kopf stemmen, das bis zu seiner maximalen Last schwer sein kann.

Ein Charakter kann bis zum Doppelten seiner Maximallast vom Boden hochheben, aber er kann damit nur umher taumeln. Solange er auf diese Weise überlastet ist, verliert er seinen Geschicklichkeitsbonus[link1] auf RK[link2] und kann sich nur 1,50 Meter pro Runde bewegen (als Volle Aktion).

Ein Charakter kann normalerweise bis zum Fünffachen seiner Maximallast am Boden entlang schieben oder ziehen. Günstige Bedingungen können diesen Wert verdoppeln, schlechte Umstände bis auf die Hälfte oder noch weniger reduzieren.

Größere und kleinere Kreaturen: Die Zahlen der Tabelle: Traglast gelten für mittelgroße zweibeinige Kreaturen. Eine größere zweibeinige Kreatur kann ein größeres Gewicht, entsprechend seiner Größenkategorie, wie folgt, tragen: Groß x2, Riesig x4, Gigantisch x8, Kolossal x16. Eine kleinere Kreatur kann weniger Gewicht entsprechend ihrer Größenkategorie, wie folgt, tragen: Klein x3/4, Sehr klein x1/2, Winzig x1/4, Mini x1/8.

Vierbeiner, wie beispielsweise Pferde, können schwerere Lasten tragen, als es ein Charakter kann. Anstelle der oben angegebenen Faktoren, multipliziere den Wert, der der Stärke[link3] der Kreatur aus Tabelle: Traglast entspricht, mit einem eigenen Faktor, wie folgt: Mini x1/4, Winzig x1/2, Sehr klein x3/4, Klein x1, Mittelgroß x1-1/2, Groß x3, Riesig x6, Gigantisch x12, Kolossal x24.

Enorme Stärke: Für Stärkewerte, die sich nicht auf der Tabelle: Traglast finden lassen, nimmt man die Einerstelle des gesuchten Stärkewertes und sucht den entsprechenden Wert zwischen 20 und 29 in der Tabelle. Diesen multipliziert man mit 4 je 10 Punkte, die die Stärke[link3] der Kreatur darüber liegt.
