Eine Falle entwerfen

Es ist recht einfach, eine neue Falle zu entwerfen. Zuerst solltest du dir überlegen, welche Art von Falle du erschaffen möchtest.

Mechanische Falle: Suche dir die Elemente aus, die zu deiner Falle gehören sollen, addiere die Modifikatoren und addiere sie auf den Grund-HG, um den Gesamt-HG der Falle zu ermitteln (siehe der Tabelle: HG-Modifikatoren für mechanische Fallen). Basierend auf dem HG kannst du dann auch den SG für den Wurf auf Handwerk (Fallen)[link1] ermitteln, der beim Erschaffen der Falle erreicht werden muss (siehe SG für den Wurf auf Handwerk bei Mechanischen Fallen[link2]).

Magische Falle: Wie auch bei einer mechanischen Falle musst du dich entscheiden, welche Elemente zu der Falle gehören sollen, und dann den endgültigen HG ermitteln (siehe der Tabelle: HG-Modifikatoren für magische Fallen). Möchte ein SC eine magische Falle entwerfen und konstruieren, muss entweder er oder einer seiner Verbündeten das Talent[link3] Wundersamen Gegenstand herstellen[link4] besitzen. Außerdem muss er in der Lage sein, den oder die Zauber für die Falle wirken zu können – falls das nicht klappt, muss er eben einen NSC anheuern, der diese Zauber dann wirkt.

Herausforderungsgrad einer Falle

Um den HG einer Falle zu ermitteln, addiere alle HG-Modifikatoren zusammen (siehe der Tabelle: HG-Modifikatoren für mechanische Fallen oder der Tabelle: HG-Modifikatoren für magische Fallen) und rechne sie auf den Grund- HG der jeweiligen Fallenart an.

Mechanische Falle: Der Grund- HG für eine mechanische Falle liegt bei 0. Liegt der Gesamt-HG deiner Falle bei 0 oder niedriger, gib ihr solange noch weitere Eigenschaften, bis du einen HG von 1 oder höher erreichst.

Magische Falle: Der Grund- HG einer Zauberfalle oder einer Magischen Gegenstandsfalle liegt bei 1. Der höchste verwendete Zaubergrad legt den Modifikator für den HG fest (siehe der Tabelle: HG-Modifikatoren für magische Fallen).

Durchschnittlicher Schaden: Wenn eine Falle (egal ob es sich um eine mechanische oder magische Falle handelt) Schaden an den Trefferpunkten verursacht, musst du den durchschnittlichen Schaden eines erfolgreichen Treffers ermitteln und diesen Wert auf das nächste Vielfache von 10 Runden. Soll deine Falle mehr als nur ein Ziel treffen können, musst du diesen Wert verdoppeln. Soll deine Falle mehrere Runden lang Schaden verursachen, musst du den ermittelten Wert mit der Anzahl der Runden multiplizieren, welche die Falle aktiv ist (oder mit der durchschnittlichen Anzahl an Runden, falls die Wirkungsdauer variabel ist). Benutze den ermittelten Wert, um den HG deiner Falle so anzugleichen, wie es in der Tabelle: HG-Modifikatoren für mechanische Fallen angegeben wird. Der Schaden von Giften[link33] wird auf diesen Wert nicht angerechnet. Nur der Schaden eines hohen Stärkewerts, von Speerspitzen in einer Fallgrube und der zusätzliche Schaden von mehreren Angriffen wird angerechnet.


Bei einer magischen Falle wird nur ein Modifikator auf den HG angewendet - entweder der höchste verwendete Zaubergrad oder der Wert für den durchschnittlichen Schaden, je nachdem welcher Wert höher ist.

Mehrfachfalle: Wenn es sich bei einer Falle eigentlich um zwei oder mehr miteinander verbundene Fallen handelt, welche denselben Bereich betreffen, musst du den HG für jede Falle separat ermitteln.

Voneinander abhängige Mehrfachfallen: Wenn die Auslösung einer Falle vom Erfolg der ersten Falle abhängt (wenn du also die zweite Falle vollständig vermeiden kannst, indem du die erste nicht auslöst), erhalten die Charaktere EP für beide Fallen, wenn sie die erste entschärfen, egal ob die zweite Falle ausgelöst wurde oder nicht.

Voneinander unabhängige Mehrfachfallen: Wenn zwei oder mehr Fallen unabhängig voneinander funktionieren (wenn also keine vom Erfolg der anderen abhängt), erhalten die Charaktere nur EP für die Fallen, die sie erfolgreich entschärfen.


Kosten für mechanische Fallen

Die Kosten für eine mechanische Falle belaufen sich auf 1.000 GM x dem HG der Falle. Werden beim Auslöser oder Rücksetzer Zauber verwendet, müssen diese Kosten separat addiert werden. Kann die Falle nicht zurückgesetzt werden, kannst du die Kosten halbieren. Hat sie hingegen einen automatischen Rücksetzer, musst du die Kosten um die Hälfte anheben (+50 %). Besonders einfache Fallen wie etwa Fallgruben, kosten nach Ermessen des SL um einiges weniger. Sie können zum Beispiel nur 250 GM x HG der Falle kosten.


Hast du die Kosten mit Hilfe des HG ermittelt, musst du noch die Preise von alchemistischen Geräten oder Giften[link33] addieren, welche du bei deiner Falle verwenden möchtest. Benutzt du bei deiner Falle eines dieser Elemente und besitzt die Falle auch noch einen automatischen Rücksetzer, musst du die Kosten für das alchemistische Gerät oder das Gift[link33] mit 20 multiplizieren, um eine entsprechende Menge einzelner Dosen bereit stellen zu können.

Mehrfachfallen: Handelt es sich bei deiner Falle tatsächlich um zwei oder mehr miteinander verbundene Fallen, musst du den Preis für jede Falle separat ermitteln und diese Werte dann miteinander addieren. Dies gilt sowohl für voneinander abhängige als auch für voneinander unabhängige Mehrfachfallen.


Kosten für Magische Gegenstandsfallen

Um eine Magische Gegenstandsfalle zu bauen, musst du nicht nur Goldmünzen ausgeben, sondern auch noch einen Zauberkundigen engagieren. In der Tabelle: Modifikatoren für die Kosten werden alle Informationen zu den Kosten für Magische Gegenstandsfallen zusammengefasst. Wird bei der Falle mehr als ein Zauber verwendet (also zum Beispiel ein Geräusch- oder ein visueller Auslöser und ein Zaubereffekt), muss der Erschaffer für jeden einzelnen Zauber zahlen (außer für Alarm[link34], dieser ist umsonst, außer er wird von einem NSC gewirkt).


Bei den in der Tabelle: Modifikatoren für die Kosten angegeben Kosten wird davon ausgegangen, dass der Erschaffer die notwendigen Zauber selbst wirkt (oder ein SC, der die Zauber ohne Bezahlung wirkt). Muss ein zauberkundiger NSC angeheuert werden, müssen diese Kosten ebenfalls mit einberechnet werden.


Pro 500 GM Kosten einer Magischen Gegenstandsfalle fällt ein Tag Konstruktionszeit an Kosten für Zauberfallen

Kosten für Zauberfallen

Eine Zauberfalle kostet nur Gold, wenn der Erschaffer einen zauberkundigen NSC anheuern muss, um den Zauber zu wirken.


SG für den Wurf auf Handwerk bei Mechanischen Fallen

Kennst du erst einmal den HG deiner Falle, musst du den SG für den Wurf auf Handwerk (Fallen)[link1] mit Hilfe der entsprechenden Werte und Modifikatoren wie in der Tabelle: SG für Handwerk (Fallen) angegeben ermitteln.

Der Fertigkeitswurf: Um herauszufinden, welche Fortschritte ein Charakter in einer Woche beim Erschaffen seiner Falle macht, muss dieser Charakter einen Wurf auf Handwerk (Fallen)[link1] ablegen. Siehe die Beschreibung der Handwerksfertigkeit für Einzelheiten zu Würfen auf Handwerk[link1] und zu den Umständen, die diesen Wurf beeinflussen können.
