Inhalt


Überall in der Wildnis[link1] finden sich Krieger, die von den Mächten der Geister durchdrungen werden, die in die jenseitige Welt sehen und hören können, und von dort unermessliche Quellen der Macht anrufen. Sie sind die Auserwählten der Götter und haben in einem normalen Stamm einen Status inne, der fast dem eines Häuptlings oder Schamanen gleichkommt, diesen mitunter auch übertrifft. Boten des Zorns geben ihre Weisheit[link2] nach einem Austausch mit den Geistern oder ihre Fähigkeit des Wahrsagens weiter.

Boten des Zorns sind fast ausnahmslos Barbaren[link3]/Mystiker[link4], doch einige besitzen auch Stufen in anderen Klassen[link5]. Das verbreitetste Mysterium[link6] unter den Boten ist das des Krieges, denn die Kriegskunst steht unter den Barbaren[link3] in hohem Ansehen. Aber auch die Mystiker[link4] anderer Mysterien[link6] können den Rang eines Kriegshäuptlings, Ratgebers oder Anführers erlangen. Einige Boten des Zorns bevorzugen die Abgeschiedenheit oder tun sich als wandernde Helden hervor, die zu keinem und allen Stämmen gehören und nur der Stimme ihres jenseitigen Führers folgen, nicht den Anordnungen eines Häuptlings oder Stammesrates. Wenngleich von letzteren mit Misstrauen bedacht, sind diese Wanderer von den Barbaren[link3] sehr verehrt, gelten sie doch als Personifikation der Stärke, Tugend und Kraft des freien Volkes, die niemandem außer dem Himmel über ihnen, der Erde unter ihnen und den innewohnenden Geistern etwas schuldig sind.

Rolle: Der Bote des Zorns besitzt beachtliche Zauberfähigkeiten, doch dienen diese für gewöhnlich dazu, seine Kampfstärke zu verbessern. Seine kriegerischen Fertigkeiten[link7] sind enorm und die Fähigkeiten, jeden Kampf durchzustehen und seinen Kampfrausch[link8] zu übernatürlichen Kräften zu formen, verleiht ihm unerwartete Kräfte und eine Anpassungsfähigkeit, die es ihm gestattet, nahezu jede Herausforderung zu überwinden.

Gesinnung: Boten des Zorns können jeder Gesinnung[link9] angehören, die nicht Rechtschaffen ist. Chaotische Gesinnungen[link9] sind häufiger, da sie jener der Barbarenstämme entsprechen, aus denen die Boten entstammen. Wandernde Boten sind zumeist Chaotisch, leben abseits aller Stämme und deren Stammeshierarchien ihrer Vorfahren, wenn sie das Leben eines Abenteurers aufnehmen.

Voraussetzungen

Um ein Bote des Zorns zu werden, muss ein Charakter alle folgenden Voraussetzungen erfüllen.

Grund-Angriffsbonus: +5.

Fertigkeiten: Wissen (Religion)[link10] 5 Ränge.

Zauber: Muss die Fähigkeit besitzen, göttliche Zauber des 1. Grades zu wirken.

Speziell: Klassenmerkmal Mystikerfluch[link11], Kampfrauschkraft[link12] Klarer Augenblick[link13].

Klassenfertigkeiten

Die Klassenfertigkeiten des Boten des Zorns und ihre jeweiligen Bezugsattribute sind: Einschüchtern[link14] (CH[link15]), Heilkunde[link16] (WE[link2]), Klettern[link17] (ST[link18]), Motiv erkennen[link19] (WE[link2]), Schwimmen[link20] (ST[link18]), Wissen (Geschichte)[link10] (IN[link21]), Wissen (Religion)[link10] (IN[link21]), Zauberkunde[link22] (IN[link21]).

Fertigkeitspunkte pro Stufe: 4 + IN-Modifikator[link23].

Klassenmerkmale

Alle folgenden Fähigkeiten sind Klassenmerkmale der Prestigeklasse[link24] des Boten des Zorns.

Geübt im Umgang mit Waffen und Rüstungen: Ein Bote des Zorns ist nicht im Umgang mit zusätzlichen Waffen oder Rüstungen geübt.

Zauber pro Tag: Auf den angegebenen Stufen erhält der Bote des Zorns so viele neue Zauber pro Tag, als wäre er eine Stufe in der zauberkundigen Klasse[link5] aufgestiegen, zu der er gehörte, bevor er diese Prestigeklasse[link24] gewählt hat. Er erhält jedoch keine weiteren Vorteile dieser anderen Klasse[link5] außer der Anzahl der Zauber pro Tag, der ihm (als spontanem Zauberwirker) bekannten Zauber und der angestiegenen Zauberstufe[link25]. Besaß er zuvor mehr als eine Klasse[link5] die göttliche Zauber wirken konnte, muss er sich jeweils beim Stufenaufstieg entscheiden, welche eine neue Zauberstufe[link25] erhält, um so die neue Anzahl der Zauber pro Tag zu ermitteln.

Mystischer Barbar: Die Klassenstufen eines Boten des Zorns sind mit denen des Barbaren[link3] bei der Bestimmung seiner Kampfrauschkräfte[link12], und mit den Klassenstufen als Mystiker[link4] für die Effekte der Offenbarungen[link26] des Mystikers[link4] und seinem Mystikerfluch[link11] kumulativ. Dies gibt ihm aber keine zusätzlichen Fähigkeiten.

Schutzgeist I (AF[link27]): Jeder Bote des Zorns verfügt über einen geisterhaften Führer. Dieses körperlose Phantom spricht im Geiste zu ihm, wacht über ihn und verleiht ihm Stärke und Weisheit. Wann immer ein Bote in den Kampfrausch[link8] verfällt, erhält er durch seinen Schutzgeist einmalig den Vorteil des Zaubers Göttliche Führung[link28]. Der Bonus daraus kann während des Kampfrausches nach freier Wahl verwendet werden. Zudem gewährt der Schutzgeist dem Boten die Anwendung der Zauber Geisterhaftes Geräusch[link29], Magierhand[link30] und Tanzende Lichter[link31] als zauberähnliche Fähigkeiten[link32], jeweils einmal pro Tag (die Zauberstufe[link25] entspricht der Stufe als Bote des Zorns). Die SG der Rettungswürfe[link33] basieren auf Charisma[link15].

Mysterium der Schutzgeister: Beginnend mit der 2. Stufe sowie jede folgende gerade Stufe, erlernt der Bote des Zorns einen zusätzlichen Zauber von seinem Schutzgeist. Diese Zauber erhält er zusätzlich zu der in Tabelle: Dem Mystiker bekannte Zauber[link34] aufgeführten Anzahl. Wie auch die anderen Zauber aus einem Mysterium[link6] kann er diese auf höheren Stufen nicht gegen andere Zauber austauschen. Der Bote muss in der Lage sein den entsprechenden Grad des Zaubers zu wirken, um einen Zauber dieses Grades von seinem Schutzgeist zu erlernen. Der Bote behandelt den Zauber als einen Mystikerzauber des jeweils angegebenen Grades. Ihm stehen die folgenden Zauber zur Auswahl (Grad): Arkanes Auge[link35] (4.), Geisterhand[link36] (2.), Hilfreiche Hand[link37] (2.), Mit Toten sprechen[link38] (3.), Schattenreise[link39] (6.), Traum[link40] (5.), Unauffälliger Diener[link41] (1.), Unsichtbares sehen[link42] (2.), Vision[link43] (7.), Vorahnung[link44] (2.), Waffe des Glaubens[link45] (2.), Weg finden[link46] (6.), Weissagung[link47] (4.), Windgeflüster[link48] (2.)

Zorniger Heiler (ÜF[link49]): Ab der 2. Stufe ist ein Bote des Zorns in der Lage, während des Kampfrausches auf sich selbst Heilzauber zu wirken, ohne die Kampfrauschkraft[link12] Klarer Augenblick[link13] einsetzen zu müssen.

Unbeirrbares Zaubern (AF[link27]): Ab der 3. Stufe kann ein Bote des Zorns seinen Konstitutionsbonus[link23] (so vorhanden) auf seine Konzentrationswürfe[link50] addieren.

Zornerfülltes Zaubern (ÜF[link49]): Beginnend mit der 4. Stufe werden die Zauber eines Boten des Zorns stärker, sobald er sich im Kampfrausch[link8] befindet. Verwendet er die Fähigkeit Klarer Augenblick[link13], fügt er seine Stufen als Barbar[link3] zu seiner Zauberstufe[link25] hinzu. Ab der 7. Stufe addiert er während des Kampfrausches zudem seinen Konstitutionsbonus[link23] auf den SG der Rettungswürfe[link33] gegen seine Zauber.

Schutzgeist II (ZF[link32]): Ab der 5. Stufe steigt der Kompetenzbonus, der dem Boten des Zorns durch die Göttliche Führung[link28] des Schutzgeistes verliehen wird, auf die Hälfte seiner Klassenstufe als Bote des Zorns an, wenn er gegen Externare[link51], Feenwesen[link52], körperlose[link53] Wesen oder Untote[link54] kämpft. Als Schnelle Aktion kann ein Bote eine Runde des Kampfrausches dafür verbrauchen (unabhängig davon, ob er sich im Kampfrausch[link8] befindet oder nicht), um seiner Rüstung oder seinen Waffen für die Dauer einer Runde die Fähigkeit der Geisterhaften Berührung[link55] zu verleihen. Dieser Effekt endet auch, sobald der Gegenstand nicht länger im Besitz des Boten ist.

Verlängerter Kampfrausch (ÜF[link49]): Beginnend mit der 6. Stufe kann ein Bote des Zorns im Rahmen einer Freien Aktion einen ungenutzten Zauberplatz opfern und dadurch seinen Kampfrausch[link8] verlängern. Die zusätzliche Anzahl der Runden für den Kampfrausch[link8] entspricht dem Grad des Zauberplatzes, der geopfert wurde.

Zorniger Zauberkundiger (ÜF[link49]): Ab der 8. Stufe ist ein Bote des Zorns in der Lage, während des Kampfrausches auf sich Zauber mit der Reichweite Persönlich zu wirken, ohne die Kampfrauschkraft[link12] Klarer Augenblick[link13] einsetzen zu müssen.

Schutzgeist III (ZF[link32]): Ab der 9. Stufe steigt der Kompetenzbonus, der dem Boten des Zorns durch die Göttliche Führung[link28] des Schutzgeistes auf die Höhe seiner Klassenstufe als Bote des Zorns an, wenn er gegen Externare[link51], Feenwesen[link52], körperlose[link53] Wesen oder Untote[link54] kämpft. Um seiner Rüstung oder seinen Waffen die Fähigkeit der Geisterhaften Berührung[link55] zu verleihen, benötigt er nur noch eine Augenblickliche Aktion.

Stärkerer Kampfrausch (AF[link27]): Ab der 10. Stufe erhöht sich der Moralbonus, den ein Bote des Zorns während eines Kampfrausches auf Stärke[link18] und Konstitution[link56] erhält, auf +6. Der Moralbonus auf seine Willenswürfe[link33] erhöht sich auf +3.
