Boje, gewöhnliche: Eine Boje wird verwendet, um einen bestimmten Punkt in Seen, Flüssen oder anderen Wasserkörpern zu markieren, so dass du später dorthin zurückkehren kannst. Zu jeder Boje gehören ein Schwimmkörper (meist eine luftgefüllte Blase oder eine versiegelte Kürbisflasche), 60 m Schnur und ein 15-Pfund-Stein, der als Anker dient. Der Schwimmkörper ist üblicherweise in einer gut erkennbaren Farbe gestaltet und zuweilen mit einer kleinen Fahne ausgestattet, um Aufmerksamkeit zu erwecken. Der Anker ist gegenüber den Gezeiten und normalem Wetter recht widerstandsfähig. Er stellt aber keine wirkliche Herausforderung für intelligente Wesen dar, die ihn sabotieren wollen.


Ausrüstungskompendium: Mithilfe einer Boje markiert man einen bestimmten Punkt in einem See, einem Fluss oder einem ähnlichen Gewässer, so dass man zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt an die Stelle zurückkehren kann. Zu einer gewöhnlichen Boje gehören ein Schwimmkörper (für gewöhnlich ein mit Luft gefüllter Sack oder eine versiegelte Kürbisflasche), ein 60 m langes Garn sowie ein 15 Pfd. schwerer Stein als Anker. Der Schwimmkörper ist normalerweise mit hellen Farben bemalt und könnte mit kleinen Fähnchen bestückt sein, um Aufmerksamkeit zu erregen. Obwohl Ankerbojen sich als recht widerstandsfähig gegen die normale Witterung und die Gezeiten erwiesen haben, stellen sie doch kaum eine Herausforderung für intelligente Kreaturen dar, die sie sabotieren wollen. Eine hochwertige Boje besteht aus einem kugel- oder eiförmigen, hohlen Schwimmkörper aus Metall (normalerweise Kupfer), einer langen Kette statt Garn und einem Metallanker statt eines Gewichtsteins.


Boje, höherwertige: Der hohle, kugelförmige oder ovale Schwimmkörper dieser Boje besteht aus Metall (meist Kupfer). Statt Schnur ist eine Kette[link29] an ihr angebracht und der Anker besteht aus Metall. Ansonsten verhält sie sich wie eine gewöhnliche Boje.

Decke: Diese warme Wolldecke ist mit Riemen versehen, so dass man sie zusammenrollen und -binden kann.


Ausrüstungskompendium: An dieser warmen Webdecke sind Schnallen angebracht, damit man sie aufrollen und befestigen kann. Decken werden häufig zusammen mit Schlafsäcken genutzt, um zusätzlich zu wärmen oder den Boden zu polstern.


Eisennagel: Dieser etwa 30 cm lange eiserne Nagel wird verwendet, um Türen offen oder geschlossen zu halten und Seile beim Klettern[link30] zu sichern. Zu hören, wie ein Nagel eingeschlagen wird, erfordert einen Wahrnehmungswurf[link31] gegen SG 5.


Ausrüstungskompendium: Dieser 0,30 m lange Eisennagel wird zum Verschließen von Türen und zur Sicherung von Kletterseilen genutzt. Um das Einschlagen eines Nagels zu hören, muss man einen Fertigkeitswurf[link32] für Wahrnehmung[link31] gegen SG 5 ablegen.


Faden oder Zwirn: Faden und Zwirn wird als Knäul oder Spule verkauft. Man kann damit Fallen[link33] und Alarmvorrichtungen aufstellen, außerdem sind sie wichtige Bestandteile von Wurfhaken[link34] und Pfeilen. Faden und Zwirn haben Härte[link35] 0, 1 TP und SG 14 gegen Zerreißen.


Ausrüstungskompendium: Faden und Zwirn werden in Knäueln bzw. Spulen zu 15 m verkauft. Sie sind sehr nützlich beim Aufstellen von Fallen und Alarmen und ein wichtiger Bestandteil von Hakenbolzen und -pfeilen. Faden bzw. Zwirn besitzt Härte[link35] 0, 1 Trefferpunkt und einen Zerschmettern-SG von 14.


Giftring: Dieser Ring hat ein winziges Fach unter seiner Oberfläche, welches üblicherweise Gift[link36] enthält. Das Fach zu öffnen oder zu schließen ist eine Bewegungsaktion[link37], die einen Wurf auf Fingerfertigkeit[link38] gegen SG 20 erfordert, um unbemerkt zu bleiben.

Imkerkleidung: Diese schweren und überlappenden Stoffschichten machen es in Verbindung mit einem weiten Hut und einem dichten, schleierartigen Netz[link39] nahezu unmöglich für winzige Kreaturen, Hautkontakt herzustellen. Eine Imkerkleidung halbiert deine Bewegungsrate und verleiht dir SR 10/- gegen Schwärme aus Mini-Kreaturen und SR 5/- gegen Schwärme winziger Kreaturen.

Schiefertafel: Die Ausmaße dieses dünnen Stücks polierten schwarzen Steins, der mit einem hölzernen Rahmen versehen wurde, entsprechen etwa einem größeren Buch. Wenn du etwas mit Kreide[link40] auf die Oberfläche geschrieben hast, kannst du es mit einem feuchten Tuch wieder entfernen.

Magnet: Handgroße Magnete sind meist recht schwach und werden hauptsächlich verwendet, um Adamant[link41], Eisen oder Mithral[link42] auf kurze Entfernung zu entdecken und zu ziehen. Ein handgroßer Hufeisenmagnet kann bis zu 3 Pfund Eisen an Gewicht heben.

Murmeln: Wie Krähenfüße[link43] können Murmeln verwendet werden, um Gegner zu verlangsamen. Ein 2-Pfund-Beutel Murmeln bedeckt einen Bereich von 1,50 m x 1,50 m. Eine Kreatur, die ein Feld betritt, auf dem Murmeln verstreut sind, muss einen Reflexwurf[link44] gegen SG 10 ablegen, oder fällt zu Boden (so vorhanden wird der Stabilitätsbonus gegen Zu-Fall-bringen[link45] auf den Rettungswurf[link44] addiert). Eine Kreatur, die sich nur mit ihrer halben Bewegungsrate durch ein von Murmeln bedecktes Feld bewegt, hat keine Schwierigkeiten dabei.

Ohrstöpsel: Ohrstöpsel aus wachsüberzogener Baumwolle oder Kork geben dir einen Situationsbonus von +2 auf Rettungswürfe[link44] gegen Effekte, die Gehör erfordern, zugleich aber auch einen Malus von -5 auf gleichartige Wahrnehmungswürfe[link31].

Papier: Ein Blatt gewöhnlichen Papiers misst etwa 27 cm x 18 cm und ist nicht geeignet, um magische Schriftrollen[link46] damit anzufertigen. Es hat Härte[link35] 0, 1 TP und einen SG zum Zerreißen von 5.

Periskop: Diese 60 cm lange Metallröhre ist an jedem Ende im rechten Winkel gebogen und im Inneren mit Spiegeln ausgestattet – wenn du in das eine Ende blickst, kannst du durch das andere sehen, so dass du sicher um Ecken, über Hindernisse hinweg und in kleine Bereiche, in welche dein Kopf nicht passen würde, blicken kannst. Wenn du ein Periskop benutzt, zählt das Ende als winziges Objekt, so dass es weniger wahrscheinlich ist, dass eine beobachtete Kreatur dich bemerkt – solltest du Volle Tarnung[link47] gegen die beobachtete Kreatur haben und das Ende des Periskops sichtbar sein, dann verwende den Größenmodifikator für Winzig statt deines eigenen beim Heimlichkeitswurf[link48]. Aufgrund der Unschärfe und Verzerrung durch die Spiegel erleidest du einen Malus von -4 auf Fertigkeitswürfe[link32] für Wahrnehmung[link31]. Die Röhre hält einiges aus (Härte[link35] 5, TP 2), doch die Spiegel darin sind zerbrechlich (Härte[link35] 1, TP 1) und jeder Schaden, der die Härte[link35] der Röhre überwindet, betrifft die Röhre und die Spiegel.

Pfeife, Signal-: Du kannst eine Signalpfeife[link49] mit einem Wurf auf Auftreten (Blasinstrumente)[link50] gegen SG 5 wie ein Signalhorn benutzten. Die Pfeife kann etwa 400 m weit klar gehört werden (Wahrnehmungswurf[link31] gegen SG 0). Für jeweils weitere 400 m unterliegen Wahrnehmungswürfe[link31] zum Hören der Pfeife einem Malus von -2.
Es gibt auch stumme Pfeifen, die nur von Tieren und anderen Kreaturen mit scharfem Gehör vernommen werden können.

Pulver: Zerriebene Kreide[link40], Mehl und ähnliches ist bei Abenteurern beliebt, weil man damit unsichtbare[link51] Kreaturen enttarnen kann. Einen Beutel voll Pulver in ein Feld zu werfen ist ein Angriff gegen RK[link52] 5 und enthüllt kurzfristig, ob sich dort eine unsichtbare[link51] Kreatur aufhält. Eine effektivere Methode besteht darin, im Rahmen einer vollen Runde Pulver auf einer Oberfläche zu verstreuen und dann nach Fußabdrücken zu suchen.

Rauchglasbrille: Diese Brille hat Linsen aus Rauchglas, welche dich gegen Blickangriffe schützen. Du wirst stets behandelt, als würdest du deinen Blick abwenden und erhältst einen Situationsbonus von +8 auf Rettungswürfe[link44] gegen sichtbasierende Angriffe ( jeden Angriff, gegen den eine blinde[link53] Kreatur immun wäre). Während du die verdunkelten Gläser trägst, erleidest du einen Malus von -4 auf Fertigkeitswürfe[link32] für Wahrnehmung[link31] und alle deine Gegner werden von dir behandelt, als hätten sie Tarnung[link47] (20 % Wahrscheinlichkeit zu verfehlen).

Reispapier: Diese Art von Papier wird aus Reis oder Baumrinde angefertigt. Die Härte[link35] beträgt 0, es hat 1 TP und der SG um es zu zerreißen beträgt 2.

Rucksack, Meisterarbeit: Dieser Rucksack[link54] verfügt über zahlreiche Taschen, in denen man verschiedene Gegenstände verstauen kann, die vielleicht während eines Abenteuers benötigt werden. Haken gehören ebenfalls zur Ausstattung, an denen man Gegenstände wie Feldflaschen, Beutel oder auch eine zusammengerollte Decke befestigen kann. Er hat gepolsterte Bänder, die über Brust und Taille verlaufen, um das Gewicht besser zu verteilen. Wie ein normaler Rucksack[link54] kann der Hauptbehälter 54l an Material aufnehmen. Wenn du einen meisterhaft gefertigten Rucksack[link54] benutzt, wird dein Stärkewert[link55] hinsichtlich deiner Tragkapazität[link56] um +1 höher behandelt.

Sanduhr: Bei einer gewöhnlichen Sanduhr benötigt der Sand 1 Stunde, um aus der oberen Kammer zu fließen. Es gibt größere und kleinere Zeitmesser für Zeitintervalle bis zu 6 Sekunden.

Schmetterlingsnetz: An einem Ende dieser 1,80 m langen Stange befindet sich ein großer Metallreifen, der von einem dünnen Drahtnetz bedeckt ist. Du kannst es benutzen, um Gegenstände aus Material herauszusieben, die imstande sind, das Netz zu passieren, wie Sand oder Wasser. Du kannst es auch verwenden, um winzige Kreaturen einzufangen, als wäre es ein Netz (Waffe). Bei einem Fehlschlag musst du das Netz aber nicht neu ordnen. Die Stange funktioniert wie das Seil einer Netz waffe.

Schriftrollenbehälter: Dieser aus Leder oder Holz gefertigte Behälter hält vier Schriftrollen[link46]. Du kannst mehr hineinquetschen, doch dann benötigst du eine Volle Aktion[link57] statt einer Bewegungsaktion, um eine zu entnehmen. Du musst den Behälter zuerst zerstören, wenn du den Inhalt beschädigen willst (Härte[link35] 2 bei Leder oder 5 bei Holz, TP 2, Zerschmettern SG 15). Ein Schriftrollenbehälter ist nicht wasserdicht.

Seil, Spinnenseide: An der Oberfläche nahezu unbekannt, werden Spinnenseidenseile von Goblinsklaven im Dienste der Drow[link58] aus den Seidenfäden von Monsterspinnen angefertigt. Daher wird diese Art von Seil in der Regel von Drow[link58] verwendet. Kürzere Seilstücke, meist nicht länger als 3 m, werden aber oft auch von Goblins[link59] genutzt. Ein Spinnenseidenseil hat 6 TP und kann mittels eines Stärkewurfs[link55] gegen SG 25 zerrissen werden.

Signalhorn: Ein Horn zu blasen erfordert einen Wurf auf Auftreten (Blasinstrumente)[link50] gegen SG 10, um Signale wie „Angriff !“, „Hilfe!“, „Vorrücken!“, „Rückzug!“, „Feuer!“ oder „Alarm!“ zu übermitteln. Ein Signalhorn kann problemlos bis zu 800 m weit gehört werden (Wahrnehmungswurf[link31] gegen SG 0), für jeweils weitere 400 m erleiden Wahrnehmungswürfe[link31] um das Horn zu hören einen Malus von -1.

Stachelweste: Dünne Lederstreifen verhindern, dass die zahllosen, kleinen, angelhakenartigen Nadeln, welche die Oberfläche dieser schwarzen Weste bedecken, ihren Träger verletzen. Jede Kreatur, die dich mit einem natürlichen oder waffenlosen Angriff verletzt, während du diese Weste trägst, muss einen Reflexwurf[link44] gegen SG 15 schaffen, oder sie nimmt 1 Schadenspunkt. Sollte eine Kreatur dich vollständig verschlucken, nimmt sie je Runde 1 Schadenspunkt, bis sie dich ausspuckt, du fliehen kannst oder stirbst (dann hat auch die Weste so viel Schaden genommen, dass sie keine Bedrohung mehr darstellt). Die Weste kann ohne Rüstung oder über Leichter Rüstung getragen werden.

Tätowierung: Der Preis einer Tätowierung hängt von der Qualität, der Größe und der Zahl der benutzten Farben ab. Eine münzgroße Tätowierung mit blauer Tinte[link60], die während der nächsten zehn Jahr verblasst, kann 1 KM kosten, eine handgroße Tätowierung in Schwarz, die nicht verblasst, 1 SM und eine Tätowierung, welche den ganzen Rücken bedeckt und mehrere Sitzungen erfordert 10 GM. Jede zusätzliche Farbe kostet so viel wie eine einzelne Tätowierung der entsprechenden Größe.

Truhe: Die gewöhnliche Holztruhe kommt in verschiedenen Größen: Klein (54 l, TP 1, Zerschmettern SG 17), Mittelgroß (108 l, TP 15, Zerschmettern SG 23), Groß (162 l, TP 30, Zerschmettern SG 29) und Riesig (216 l, TP 50, Zerschmettern SG 35). Die meisten verfügen über ein einfaches Schloss[link61].

Waffenkordel: Eine Waffenkordel ist eine 60 cm lange Lederschnur, mit der du deine Waffe an deinem Handgelenk befestigst. Solltest du deine Waffe fallen lassen oder entwaffnet werden, kannst du sie mit einer Schnellen Aktion aufnehmen. Sie ist auch nie weiter von dir entfernt als ein benachbartes Feld. Du kannst aber nicht die Waffe wechseln, ohne zuvor die Kordel zu lösen oder zu durchschneiden (Bewegungsaktion oder Angriff, Härte[link35] 0, TP 0). Anders als bei einem Beriemten Panzerhandschuh[link62] kannst du trotz der Waffenkordel noch immer die Hand benutzen, die herabhängende Waffe könnte aber bei feineren Handlungen stören.

Zelt: Zelte gibt es in unterschiedlichen Größen. Sie können 1-10 Personen aufnehmen. Ein kleines Zelt bietet einer mittelgroßen Kreatur Platz, der Aufbau dauert 20 Minuten. Ein mittelgroßes Zelt bietet zwei Kreaturen Platz und der Aufbau dauert 30 Minuten. Ein großes Zelt fasst vier Kreaturen und benötigt 45 Minuten, ein Pavillon zehn Kreaturen und erfordert 90 Minuten (zwei kleine Kreaturen zählen als eine mittelgroße Kreatur und eine große Kreatur als zwei mittelgroße). Ein Pavillon ist groß genug, um ein kleines Feuer in der Mitte zu erlauben. Ein Zelt abzubauen und zusammenzupacken dauert halb so lange wie der Aufbau.
