Version Ausrüstungskompendium: Dieser Gegenstand wurde umbenannt, im GRB hieß es für dürftig und gewöhnlich armseelig bzw. durchschnittlich.
Malzbier: Malzbier ist ein Bier, das aus Gerstenmalz gebraut wird. Es besitzt ein süßes, volles und gelegentlich fruchtiges Aroma.
Met: Dieses alkoholische Getränk wird aus gegorenem Honig und Wasser hergestellt. Met kann mit Gewürzen, Früchten oder Hopfen aromatisiert werden.
Milch: Milch ist eine nahrhafte Flüssigkeit, die von Säugetieren und insbesondere von Kühen, Ziegen, Schafen und Pferden produziert wird. Frische Milch ist dickflüssig und neigt zur Abscheidung. Häufig lässt man den Rahm nach oben steigen und schöpft ihn dann ab; den Rest serviert man als Getränk.
Milchpulver: Wenn man dieses trockene Pulver mit Wasser mischt, erhält man Magermilch. Das Pulver entsteht dadurch, dass man die Milch erwärmt und währenddessen langsam Hirsemehl hinzugibt. Schließlich kocht man die Mischung ein, bis sie eindickt, und lässt sie dann trocknen. Milchpulver wird in versiegelten Töpfen oder Gläsern verkauft. Aus einem Pfund Milchpulver erhält man ungefähr 3,75 l Milch.
Ork-Reiseproviant: Der typische Ork-Reiseproviant besteht aus grobem Schwarzbrot, dünnen Würsten, die so zäh wie Leder sind und langsam gekaut werden müssen, damit sie weich werden, Trockenfleisch unbekannter Herkunft und scharfer Paprika. Wenn du ein Ork oder Halb-Ork[link58] bist, der seit mindestens 1 Woche nur diesen Proviant isst, steigt der SG gegen deine Fertigkeitswürfe[link59] für Einschüchtern[link60] um +2. Dieser Bonus hält so lange an, bis du eine andere Mahlzeit als den Proviant zu dir nimmst oder du einen ganzen Tag ohne eine Tagesration auskommst.
Pulque: Dieses nahrhafte, milchfarbene alkoholische Getränk wird aus dem Herzen der Agave bzw. Jahrhundertpflanze gewonnen.
Reisebackmischung: In einem geschlossenen Behälter hält sich diese Mischung aus Mehl, Milchpulver, Natron und Salz über Monate. Wenn sie mit Wasser (wahlweise auch mit Eiern) vermischt wird, entsteht ein Teig für Kekse (aber auch für andere Schnellgebäcke wie Pfannkuchen, Waffeln, Milchbrötchen oder Teesemmeln) oder Kuchen. Aus einem Pfund Reisebackmischung kann man ein Dutzend Kekse herstellen.
Reiseproviant: Der angegebene Preis gilt für eine Tagesration. Dieses fade Essen besteht für gewöhnlich aus einer Art Zwieback, Dörrfleisch und Trockenfrüchten, allerdings hängt der Inhalt von der jeweiligen Region und dem Volk ab, das den Proviant herstellt. Solange das Essen trocken bleibt, hält es monatelang, ohne zu verderben.
Rumpott: Rumpott ist ein starkes Getränk aus Rum, Wein, Bier, Eiern, Zucker und Gewürzen und wird warm in besseren Kneipen serviert.
Schokolade: Diese dunkle, bittere Leckerei kann am Stück gegessen oder geschmolzen und in ein Getränk wie Milch gemischt werden. In manchen Ländern vermischt man Schokolade mit Zucker oder Chili.
Seefürstenwein: Diese Rot- und Weißweine, die in bestimmten Weingütern in Küstennähe angebaut werden, besitzen ein süßlich herbes Aroma, das von Adeligen in vielen Ländern geschätzt wird.
Speiseeis: Diese exotische Nachspeise wird aus Milch und Sahne hergestellt und häufig mit Früchten oder Minze aromatisiert. Da die Speise bei Raumtemperatur sehr schnell schmilzt, muss sie entweder aus frischem Eis oder Schnee hergestellt oder bei niedrigen Temperaturen gelagert werden, wie zum Beispiel in einem kalten Keller oder durch alchemistische bzw. magische Mittel. Aufgrund dieser Einschränkung ist Speiseeis in den meisten Ländern teuer und nur zu bestimmten Jahreszeit verfügbar. Der angegebene Preis gilt für eine Kugel (1 Becher).
Tee: Tee ist in vielen Regionen ein beliebtes Getränk. Je nachdem, wann die Blätter gepflückt und wie sie vorbereitet werden, kann der Tee grün oder schwarz sein. Man kann ihn schlicht oder mit Milch, Zucker, Zitrone oder Gewürzen servieren.
Teezeremoniegeschirr: Dazu gehören ein Tablett, ein Teekessel, ein Teebesen, eine Schüssel zum Vermengen des Tees, vier kleine Tassen und ein Schmuckkasten, in dem die Utensilien aufbewahrt werden. Das zeremonielle Kochen des Tees ist Teil der klassischen Teezeremonie. Um zu wissen, welche Schritte bei der Vorbereitung und der Teilnahme an einer Teezeremonie nötig sind, muss man einen erfolgreichen Fertigkeitswurf[link59] für Wissen (Adel)[link61] gegen SG 15 ablegen.
Tepache: Dieses leicht alkoholische Getränk besteht aus Bier, Ananas (oder anderen Tropenfrüchten), Zucker und Zimt, gärt ein paar Tage lang und wird schließlich kalt und mit Chilipulver serviert. Tepache ist süß und schmeckt angenehm, ist aber normalerweise nur in wärmeren Gefilden zu finden.
Wandermahl: Dieser harte, trockene Kuchen ist eine Erfindung der Halblinge[link62] und wird aus Mehl, Wasser und Gewürzen hergestellt. Das Wandermahl hält sich über Monate, ohne zu verderben, ist einfach mitzunehmen und füllt den Magen. Nimmt der Esser allerdings eine Woche lang keine andere Nährstoffe zu sich, muss er täglich einen Zähigkeitswurf[link49] ablegen (SG 15 + 1 für jeden weiteren Tag), damit er nicht kränkelt[link63]. Der Effekt endet 1 Tag, nachdem man etwas Nahrhaftes zu sich genommen hat. Der angegebene Preis gilt für eine Tagesration.
Wein: Wein stellt man aus vergorenem Fruchtsaft her – normalerweise aus Trauben, manchmal aber auch aus Beeren, Äpfeln oder sogar Reis (Sake). Der niedrigste Preis gilt für unscheinbare und gewöhnliche Weine, der höhere Preis für deutlich bessere Weine. Allerdings können Weine, die von einem bestimmten Winzer (und eines bestimmten Jahrgangs) weitaus höhere Preise erzielen. In kälteren Gefilden wird der Wein oft mit Früchten, Gewürzen, Honig und Mandeln zu Glühwein verarbeitet und im Winter als wärmendes Getränk serviert.
Whiskey: Whiskey ist ein destilliertes Getränk aus gegarter Getreidemaische (normalerweise aus Gerste, Mais, Malz, Roggen oder Weizen), das im Holzfass reift. Je länger das Getränk in dem Fass reift, desto weicher ist das fertige Produkt.
Zwergen-Reiseproviant: Zwergen-Reiseproviant besteht aus Räucherwürsten und Salzfleisch, dazu kommen Zwieback und Trockenfrüchte. Wenn du ein Zwerg bist, der sich seit mindestens 1 Woche von nichts anderem als diesem Reiseproviant ernährt, kannst du eine Stunde länger ohne Nebenwirkungen eilen oder einen Gewaltmarsch einlegen, allerdings nicht beides am gleichen Tag. Dieser Vorzug dauert so lange an, bis du ein anderes Mahl als den Reiseproviant zur dir nimmst oder einen Tag lang ohne eine Tagesration auskommst.
Zwergisches Starkbier: Zwergisches Starkbier ist eher eine Familie von Bieren denn ein einziges Getränk und trägt in von Menschen bewohnten Ländern verschiedene Namen. Zwergische Starkbiere sind Dunkelbiere, die leicht verbrannt schmecken und viel Schaum haben – und man sagt ihnen nach, sie seien so sättigend wie eine Mahlzeit. Die meisten Zwergenklans verwenden Rezepte, die in diesem Clan einzigartig sind. Es kann vorkommen, dass Familienfehden über das am besten gebraute Bier Jahrhunderte zurückreichen.
