Monsterspielwerte einordnen

Tabelle Monsterspielwerte nach HG ist eine Erweiterung der gleichnamigen Tabelle auf Seite 291 im Monsterhandbuch. Sie führt grobe Spielwerte für Monster bis HG 30 auf; der Bereich HG 1-20 entspricht der Tabelle im Monsterhandbuch. Diese Werte sind grobe Richtlinien. Du wirst bemerken, dass viele existierende Monster in diesem Buch den Richtlinien nicht genaufolgen. Die meisten Monster glänzen auf einem dieser Gebiete – dabei handelt es sich meistens um die Menge des verursachten Schadens – allerdings hinken zum Ausgleich aber auf einem oder zwei anderen Gebieten hierher. Ein Monster könnte daher z.B. einen höheren als den in der Tabelle aufgeführten Schaden austeilen, dafür aber weniger TP und eine niedrigere RK[link1] besitzen. Die Einträge in der Tabelle sind:
HG: Dies ist der ungefähre HG des Monsters. Dieser Wert kann sich in den späteren Phasen des Entwurfs verändern.
Trefferpunkte: Dies ist ein Annäherungswert für die Gesamtzahl der Trefferpunkte des Monsters. Beachte, dass Kreaturen mit einer hohen RK[link1], sehr guten Rettungswürfen[link2] oder einer Zahl von Resistenzen eine niedrigere Trefferpunktzahl haben können. Externare[link3] und Konstrukte[link4] haben meistens niedrigere Gesamttrefferpunkte.
Rüstungsklasse: Dies ist die durchschnittliche Rüstungsklasse[link1] für eine Kreatur dieses HG. Wenn es Zeit wird, die Verteidigung der Kreatur zu entwerfen, solltest du diese Zahl im Gedächtnis behalten. Kreaturen mit hohen Gesamttrefferpunkten haben meist eine niedrigere Rüstungsklasse, um dies zu kompensieren.
Hoher Angriff: Dies ist der durchschnittliche Gesamtangriffsbonus für eine Kreatur dieses HG. Dieser Wert ist für Kreaturen wichtig, die hauptsächlich Nah- oder Fernkämpfer sind. Kreaturen mit einem überdurchschnittlichen Schaden haben normalerweise einen niedrigeren Angriffswert, um dies zu kompensieren.
Niedriger Angriff: Dies ist der durchschnittliche Gesamtangriffsbonus für eine Kreatur dieses HG, die sich nicht auf Nahkampf- oder Fernkampfangriffe verlässt, um ihren Schaden zu verursachen. Dies beinhaltet Kreaturen, die sich im Kampf auf Zauber und zauberähnliche Fähigkeiten[link5] stützen.
Durchschnittsschaden: Hier findet sich die durchschnittliche Anzahl an Schadenspunkten, die eine Kreatur dieses HG verursacht, wenn alle ihre Angriffe erfolgreich sind. Um den Durchschnittsschaden einer Kreatur zu bestimmen, zählst du für jeden Angriff den durchschnittlichen Wert aller Schadenswürfel (wie in Tabelle 1-5 auf Seite 293 im Monsterhandbuch angegeben) mit dem Schadensmodifikator zusammen. Eine Kreatur, die sich auf Nahkampf- und Fernkampfangriffe im Kampf verlässt, sollte einen Durchschnittsschaden haben, der sich im Bereich zwischen dem hohen und dem niedrigen Wert befindet. Eine Kreatur mit einem Angriffsbonus[link6], der höher als gewöhnlich ist, wird meist weniger Schaden verursachen, während eine Kreatur mit einem niedrigeren Angriffsbonus[link6] meist mehr Schaden verursacht.
SG der Primärfähigkeit: Dies ist der durchschnittliche SG für alle Zauber, zauberähnlichen Fähigkeiten[link5] und besonderen Eigenschaften (wie beispielsweise Odemwaffen), die eine Kreatur von diesem HG besitzt und die sich auf solche Angriffe im Kampf hauptsächlich verlässt. Sollte eine Fähigkeit besonders mächtig sein, sollte ihr SG niedriger liegen, um dies zu kompensieren.
SG der Sekundärfähigkeit: Dies ist der durchschnittliche SG für Zauber und zauberähnliche Fähigkeiten[link5], die eine Kreatur besitzt, die sich nicht auf diese Art von Angriffen in einem Kampf verlässt. Im Allgemeinen sollte ein SG nicht niedriger als dieser Wert sein.
Guter Rettungswurf: Dies ist der durchschnittliche Rettungswurf[link2] bonus, den eine Kreatur dieses HG haben sollte, wenn es sich um einen der guten Rettungswürfe[link2] handelt.
