Feuerwaffenregeln

Feuerwaffen funktionieren anders als andere Fernkampfwaffen. Sie nutzen die folgenden Regeln:

Umgang mit Feuerwaffen: Das Talent Umgang mit Exotischen Waffen (Feuerwaffen)[link1] erlaubt dir, alle Feuerwaffen ohne Mali zu nutzen. Ein ungeübter Charakter erleidet den Standardmalus von -4 auf Angriffswürfe[link2] mit Feuerwaffen und erhöht beim Laden einer Feuerwaffe den Fehlzündungswert um 4.

Auch wenn das Talent Umgang mit Exotischen Waffen (Feuerwaffen)[link1] dich geübt mit allen Feuerwaffen macht, musst du bei der Wahl eines Talentes, das sich auf eine einzelne Art von Feuerwaffe auswirkt (z.B. Waffenfokus[link3] oder Schnelles Nachladen[link4]), eine spezielle Art von Feuerwaffe auswählen (z.B. Muskete[link5], Axtmuskete[link6], Pistole[link7], Doppelpistole[link8] oder Donnerbüchse[link9]), auf die sich das Talent auswirkt. Alle Feuerwaffen sind hinsichtlich des Klassenmerkmals Waffentraining[link10] des Kämpfers[link11] Teil derselben Waffengruppe.

Kapazität: Die Kapazität einer Feuerwaffe legt fest, wie viele Ladungen sie gleichzeitig aufnehmen kann. Im Rahmen eines Vollen Angriffes kannst du eine Feuerwaffe in einer Runde so oft abfeuern, wie es die Kapazität gestattet, sofern du die Waffe nicht auch noch mit einer Schnellen oder Freien Aktion während dieses Vollen Angriffes nachladen kannst. Im Falle der ersten Feuerwaffen gibt die Kapazität oft die Zahl der Läufe der Feuerwaffe an. Im Falle fortschrittlicher Feuerwaffen dagegen ist es meist die Zahl an Kammern, über welche die Waffe verfügt.

Reichweite und Durchschlagskraft: Künstlich hergestellte oder natürliche Rüstung bietet nur wenig Schutz gegen die Wucht einer Kugel auf kurze Reichweite.

Frühe Feuerwaffen: Ein Angriff mit einer frühen Feuerwaffe zielt gegen die Berührungs- RK[link12] des Zieles, solange dieses sich innerhalb der ersten Grundreichweiteneinheit der Waffe befindet. Diese Art von Angriff zählt aber nicht als Berührungsangriff hinsichtlich Talenten und Fähigkeiten wie Tödliche Zielgenauigkeit[link13]. Bei höherer Entfernung zielt der Angriff gegen die gewöhnliche RK[link12] und erleidet auch den üblichen kumulativen Malus von -2 pro Grundreichweiteneinheit. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Schusswaffen haben frühe Feuerwaffen eine Höchstreichweite der fünffachen Grundreichweite.

Fortschrittliche Feuerwaffen: Fortschrittliche Feuerwaffen zielen gegen die Berührungs- RK[link12] des Zieles, solange dieses sich innerhalb der ersten Grundreichweiteneinheit der Waffe befindet. Diese Art von Angriff zählt aber nicht als Berührungsangriff hinsichtlich Talenten und Fähigkeiten wie Tödliche Zielgenauigkeit[link13]. Bei höherer Entfernung zielt der Angriff gegen die gewöhnliche RK[link12] und erleidet auch den üblichen kumulativen Malus von -2 pro Grundreichweiteneinheit. Fortschrittliche Feuerwaffen haben eine Höchstreichweite der zehnfachen Grundreichweiten.

Feuerwaffen laden: Du musst mindestens eine Hand frei haben, um eine einhändige oder zweihändige Feuerwaffe zu laden. Im Falle zweihändiger Feuerwaffen hältst du die Waffe in der einen Hand und lädst sie mit der anderen – du musst sie nur zum Zielen und Schießen mit beiden Händen halten. Eine Belagerungsfeuerwaffe[link14] zu laden erfordert beide Hände, wobei du in einer Hand meisten einen großen Ladestock führst (der im Kampf notfalls wie ein Knüppel[link15] genutzt werden kann).

Das Talent Schnelles Nachladen[link4] reduziert die zum Laden einer einhändigen oder zweihändigen Feuerwaffe erforderliche Zeit, nicht aber bei Belagerungsfeuerwaffen.

Das Laden einer Feuerwaffe provoziert Gelegenheitsangriffe[link16].

Weitere Regeln für das Nachladen einer Feuerwaffe hängen davon ab, ob es sich um eine frühe Feuerwaffe oder eine fortschrittliche Feuerwaffe handelt.

Frühe Feuerwaffen: Frühe Feuerwaffen sind Frontlader, bei denen Kugeln oder Kügelchen und Schwarzpulver[link17] den Lauf hinab gestopft werden. Sollte eine frühe Feuerwaffe über mehrere Läufe verfügen, muss jeder Lauf einzeln geladen werden. Jeder Lauf einer frühen einhändigen Feuerwaffe wird mit einer Standard-Aktion geladen, jeder Lauf einer frühen zweihändigen Feuerwaffe mit einer Vollen Aktion. Eine Person braucht drei volle Runden, um eine Belagerungsfeuerwaffen[link14] zu laden; sollten mehrere Personen eine Kanone laden, dauert dies nur noch zwei Volle Runden.

Fortschrittliche Feuerwaffen: Fortschrittliche Feuerwaffen verfügen über Kammern. Bei fortschrittlichen einhändigen und zweihändigen Feuerwaffen braucht es eine Bewegungsaktion, um alle Kammern zu laden.

Fehlzündungen: Sollte das natürliche (gewürfelte) Ergebnis des Angriffswurfes innerhalb des Fehlzündungsbereiches einer Feuerwaffe liegen, geht der Schuss fehl, selbst wenn du andernfalls das Ziel getroffen hättest, und die Feuerwaffe erhält den Zustand Beschädigt[link18]. Solange sie diesen Zustand aufweist, unterliegt sie den normalen Nachteilen einer beschädigten Waffe und der Fehlzündungswert steigt um 4, sofern der Träger nicht über Feuerwaffentraining mit dieser Art von Feuerwaffe verfügt (siehe die Klasse Schütze[link19]); in diesem Fall steigt der Fehlzündungswert nur um 2 statt um 4.

Frühe Feuerwaffen: Wenn eine beschädigte Feuerwaffe die nächste Fehlzündung hat, explodiert sie. Wenn eine nicht-magische Feuerwaffe explodiert, wird sie zerstört. Magische Feuerwaffen dagegen werden demoliert und können erst wieder zum Schießen eingesetzt werden, wenn sie repariert wurden (entweder mittels des Zaubers Reparierenoder dem Talent Büchsenmacher[link20]). Wenn deine Feuerwaffe explodiert, wähle eine der Ecken deines Feldes, die als Zentrum der Explosion gilt. Bei jeder Feuerwaffe ist der Explosionsradius in Klammern hinter dem Fehlzündungswert angegeben. Jede Kreatur innerhalb dieser Explosion (der Träger der Feuerwaffe eingeschlossen) erleidet Schaden, als wäre er von der Waffe getroffen wurden; ein Reflexwurf[link21] gegen SG 12 halbiert diesen Schaden.

Fortschrittliche Feuerwaffen: Auch fortschrittliche Feuerwaffen können Fehlzündungen haben, erhalten dann aber nur den Zustand Beschädigt[link18]. Sie explodieren nicht im Falle einer erneuten Fehlzündung, während sie beschädigt[link18] sind.

Munition: Munition für Feuerwaffen gibt es in zwei Formen: Schwarzpulver[link17] und Geschoss (entweder Kugel oder Kügelchen) oder Kartusche. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Arten von Munition wird die Munition einer Feuerwaffe bei Gebrauch zerstört und kann bei einem Fehlschuss nicht geborgen werden. Kein Teil einer Kartusche kann zur Herstellung neuer Kartuschen verwendet werden. Feuerwaffenmunition kann nicht mit Gift[link22] bestrichen werden; Ausnahme ist eine Körnige Kugel[link23].

Feuerwaffen verbergen: Wie leichte Waffen und Handarmbrüste[link24] sind auch einhändige Feuerwaffen leicht am Körper zu verbergen. Manche kleinere Feuerwaffen wie z.B. die Mantelpistole[link25] können sogar Boni verleihen, um sie am Körper zu verbergen.

Zu große oder zu kleine Feuerwaffen: Du kannst Feuerwaffen, die nicht für deine Größenkategorie gefertigt wurden, nicht optimal nutzen. Jeder Stufenunterschied in der Größenkategorie hat einen kumulativen Malus von -2 auf Angriffswürfe[link2] zur Folge. Hinzu kommt der Malus von -4, falls du nicht im Umgang mit der Waffe geübt sein solltest. Die Größe einer Feuerwaffe ist niemals ausschlaggebend dafür, wie viele Hände erforderlich sind, um sie abzufeuern – die einzige Ausnahme hiervon sind Belagerungsfeuerwaffen[link14] und Kreaturen der Größenkategorie Groß oder größer. In den meisten Fällen kann eine große (oder größere) Kreatur eine Belagerungsfeuerwaffen[link14] als zweihändige Feuerwaffe mit einem Malus von -4 aufgrund der Unhandlichkeit verwenden.

Mittelgroße Charaktere können keine zweihändigen Feuerwaffen benutzen, die für Kreaturen der Größenkategorie Groß oder größer gefertigt wurden und kleine Charaktere können keine zweihändigen Feuerwaffen benutzen, die für Kreaturen der Größenkategorie Mittelgroß oder größer gefertigt wurden.

Tartschen: Du kannst eine einhändige oder zweihändige Feuerwaffe ohne Malinutzen, während du eine Tartsche[link26] trägst.

Im Liegen feuern: Wie Armbrüste können auch Feuerwaffen im Liegen[link27] abgefeuert werden.

Feuerwaffen, Schwarzpulver und Wasser: Schwarzpulver[link17] wird nutzlos, wenn es mit Wasser in Kontakt kommt. Pulverhörner[link28] und Kartuschen[link29] schützen Schwarzpulver[link17] aber davor. Du kannst keine frühe Feuerwaffe ohne magische Hilfe unter Wasser laden und keine Feuerwaffe ohne Magie unter Wasser abfeuern.

Kugeln abwehren und fangen: Die Talente Geschosse abwehren[link30] und Geschosse fangen[link31] können zur Abwehr von Kugeln genutzt werden, aber nicht gegen Kügelchen aus einer Streuwaffe. Keines dieser Talente kann Angriffe von Belagerungsfeuerwaffen[link14] abwehren.
