Kiemenmenschen

Kiemenmenschen sind die Überreste eines Volkes von Humanoiden, welches einst an der Oberfläche gelebt hat. Ihre Heimat wurde in einer großen, von Abolethen[link2] herbeigeführten Katastrophe vernichtet. Die Abolethen[link2] retteten einige wenige Überlebende und verwandelten sie in ein amphibisches Volk, das als ihre Gesandte an der Oberfläche agieren soll. Heutzutage sind Kiemenmenschen eher zurückgezogen und misstrauisch. Der Verlust ihres kulturellen Erbes und der Umstand, dass die Abolethen[link2] für alles eine Gegenleistung erwarten, verängstigt sie und hat bei ihnen tiefgreifende Spuren hinterlassen. Äußerlich haben sie eindrucksvolle Stirnregionen, blasse Haut, dunkles Haar und helle, purpurne Augen. Seitlich des Halses befinden nahe der Schultern jeweils drei Kiemenschlitze. Sieht man davon ab, ähneln sie Menschen[link3] so sehr, dass sie (einige Zeit) als solche getarnt leben können, ohne eine Entdeckung befürchten zu müssen.

Alternative Volksregeln


Alternative Volksmerkmale

Die folgenden Volksmerkmale können anstelle der existierenden Kiemenmenschen-Volksmerkmale ausgewählt werden. Sprich dies vorher mit deinem SL ab.

Atavist: Manche Kiemenmenschen stellen genetische Rückentwicklungen zu ihren landbewohnenden, menschlichen Vorfahren dar. Kiemenmenschen mit diesem Volksmerkmal besitzen nicht das Merkmal Amphibie, erhalten aber anstelle der Unterart Aquatisch[link4] die Unterart Mensch[link3]. Des Weiteren sind sie nicht mit einer Bewegungsrate[link8] (Schwimmen[link5]) ausgestattet, erhalten keine Boni auf Schwimmen, können nicht unter Wasser atmen und besitzen auch nicht das Volksmerkmal Wasserabhängig[link9].

Flussvolk: Manche Gruppen von Kiemenmenschen leben in Kolonien an breiten Strömen und haben sich an längere Aufenthaltsperioden an Land angepasst. Kiemenmenschen mit diesem Merkmal haben eine feine, natürliche Fettschicht auf der Haut, welche ihre Haut auch ohne Wasser feucht hält. Allerdings ist diese Schicht leicht brennbar, so dass sie Empfindlichkeit gegen Feuer erhalten. Dieses Volksmerkmal ersetzt Wasserabhängig[link9].

Schleimjäger: Kiemenmenschen mit diesem Merkmal stammen von Vorfahren ab, die noch gegen die Abolethen[link2] gekämpft haben, obwohl jene ihre menschlichen Ahnen gerettet haben. Sie erhalten einen Volksbonus von +2 auf Rettungswürfe[link7] gegen abolethische Zauber, zauberähnliche Fähigkeiten[link10] und übernatürliche Fähigkeiten[link11]. Dieses Volksmerkmal ersetzt Verzauberungsresistenz[link12].


Optionen zur Bevorzugten Klasse

Die folgenden Optionen stehen allen Kiemenmenschen mit den aufgeführten bevorzugten Klassen zur Verfügung. Sofern nicht anders aufgeführt, findet der Bonus jedes Mal Anwendung, wenn du eine Stufe in deiner bevorzugten Klasse aufsteigst und diese Option wählst.

Hexenmeister: Füge einen Hexenmeisterzauber zur Liste der dir bekannten Zauber hinzu. Der Grad dieses Zaubers muss mindestens um eins niedriger sein als der dir höchstmögliche Hexenmeisterzauber.

Magier: Füge einen Magierzauber zur Liste der dir bekannten Zauber hinzu. Der Grad dieses Zaubers muss mindestens um eins niedriger sein als der dir höchstmögliche Magierzauber.

Schurke: Der Schurke[link1] erhält 1/6 eines neuen Schurkentricks.


Volksarchetypen

Kiemenmenschen können den folgenden Volksarchetypen wählen:

Mystischer Ruinenräuber (Schurke[link1])

Ein Mystischer Ruinenräuber ist ein Schurke[link1], welcher die Geheimnisse der Zerstörung des Kiemenmenschen-Heimatlandes entschlüsseln will. Er erkundet alte Ruinen aus der Zeit des untergegangenen Menschenreiches und spürt Relikte sowie Wissen aus diesen ruhmreichen Tagen auf. Ein Mystischer Ruinenräuber besitzt die folgenden Klassenmerkmale:

Klassenfertigkeiten: Ein Mystischer Ruinenräuber erhält die Klassenfertigkeiten Wissen (Arkanes)[link13], Wissen (Geschichte)[link13] und Zauberkunde[link14], verliert aber die Klassenfertigkeiten Auftreten[link15], Fingerfertigkeit[link16] und Verkleiden[link17].

Fertigkeitsränge pro Stufe: 6 + IN-Modifikator.

Magie entdecken (ZF[link10]): Mit der 2. Stufe erhält ein Mystischer Ruinenräuber die Fähigkeit, beliebig oft Magie entdecken[link18] zu wirken. Seine Zauberstufe[link19] entspricht dabei seiner Schurkenstufe. Diese Fähigkeit zählt als der Schurkentrick Niedere Magie[link20] hinsichtlich der Voraussetzungen anderer Tricks. Dieses Klassenmerkmal ersetzt den Schurkentrick, den ein Schurke[link1] mit der 2. Stufe erhält.

Mystische Intuition (AF[link21]): Mit der 3. Stufe erlangt ein Mystischer Ruinenräuber ein intuitives Gespür für die Benutzung von magier- und hexenmeister-zauberauslösenden und -wirkenden Gegenständen. Er erhält einen Bonus von +1 auf Fertigkeitswürfe[link6] für Magischen Gegenstand benutzen[link22] bei solchen Gegenständen. Dieser Bonus steigt mit jeder weiteren dritten Schurkenstufe um +1. Dieses Klassenmerkmal ersetzt Fallengespür[link23].

Neue Schurkentricks: Ein Mystischer Ruinenräuber kann unter den folgenden neuen Verbesserten Schurkentricks auswählen, sobald er verbesserte Schurkentricks wählen kann:

Höhere Mystische Magie (ZF[link10]): Der Mystische Ruinenräuber erlangt die Fähigkeit, einen Zauber des 3. Grades von der HXM/MAG-Liste zwei Mal pro Tag als zauberähnliche Fähigkeit[link10] zu wirken. Die Zauberstufe[link19] entspricht seiner Schurkenstufe. Der SG von Rettungswürfen[link7] gegen diesen Zauber ist 13 + IN-Modifikator[link24]. Der Mystische Ruinenräuber muss über einen Intelligenzwert[link25] von mindestens 13 verfügen, um diesen Schurkentrick auswählen zu können. Er muss ferner über die Schurkentricks Höhere Magie[link26], Niedere Magie[link20] und Niedere Mystische Magie verfügen.

Niedere Mystische Magie (ZF[link10]): Der Mystische Ruinenräuber erlangt die Fähigkeit, einen Zauber des 2. Grades von der HXM/MAG-Liste zwei Mal pro Tag als zauberähnliche Fähigkeit zu wirken. Die Zauberstufe entspricht seiner Schurkenstufe. Der SG von Rettungswürfen gegen diesen Zauber ist 12 + IN-Modifikator. Der Mystische Ruinenräuber muss über einen Intelligenzwert von mindestens 12 verfügen, um diesen Schurkentrick auswählen zu können. Er muss ferner über die Schurkentricks Höhere Magie[link26] und Niedere Magie[link20].

Schurkentricks: Die folgenden Schurkentricks sind für den Archetypen des Mystischen Ruinenräubers geeignet: Höhere Magie[link26], Schnelles Entschärfen[link27], /Grundregelwerk/Klassen/Schurke#Spürnase[link28] (PF Grundregelwerk[link29]); Schnelles Schloss öffnen[link30] (PF Expertenregeln[link31]); Esoterischer Gelehrter[link32], Schwarzmarktkontakte[link33] und Ninjatrick[link34] (Körperfunktionen verlangsamen[link35], Wandkletterer[link36]) (PF Ausbauregeln II: Kampf[link37]).

Verbesserte Schurkentricks: Die folgenden Verbesserten Schurkentricks sind für den Archetypen des Mystischen Ruinenräubers geeignet: Bannschlag[link38], Entschlüpfender Geist[link39], Verbessertes Entrinnen[link40] (PF Grundregelwerk[link29]); Gründliches Überdenken[link41] (PF Expertenregeln[link31]); Schwer zu täuschen[link42], Vertrauter[link43] (PF Ausbauregeln II: Kampf[link37]); Höhere Mystische Magie, Niedere Mystische Magie (siehe oben).


Neue Volksregeln

Die folgenden Optionen stehen Kiemenmenschen zur Verfügung. Mit Genehmigung des SL können auch andere, passende Völker einige davon nutzen.

Schwimmklinge: Eine Schwimmklinge hat einen langen Griff und eine kurze Klinge. Sie kann am Knöchel oder am Fuß des Trägers mit der Spitze nach unten befestigt werden. Das Befestigen oder Ablegen einer Schwimmklinge ist eine Volle Aktion. Der Träger kann nicht laufen oder rennen, wenn eine Schwimmklinge an seinem Knöchel oder Fuß befestigt ist. Eine Schwimmklinge kann als leichte Nahkampfwaffe verwendet werden, wenn der Träger schwimmt, fliegt oder am Boden liegt. Auf diese Weise kann der Träger Zweithandangriffe mit der Schwimmklinge ausführen, während er zugleich eine Zweihandwaffe oder eine Einhandwaffe und einen Schild[link52] benutzt. Angriffe mit einer Schwimmklinge unterliegen einem zusätzlichen Situationsmalus von -2 auf Angriffswürfe[link53] neben allen anderen Abzügen.

Kiemenmenschen haben Zugang zum folgenden neuen Zauber:

Das Ziel kann unter Wasser atmen, es ist aber nicht länger in der Lage, normal Luft zu atmen. Teile die Wirkungsdauer gleichmäßig unter den von dir berührten Kreaturen auf. Dieser Zauber hat keinen Effekt bei Kreaturen, die bereits unter Wasser atmen können.
