Meervolk

Angehörige des Meervolkes haben die Oberkörper gutgebauter und attraktiver Menschen, während ihre Unterleiber dem Schwanz und Flosse eines großen Fisches ähneln. Ihre Haare und Schuppen sind oft farbenreich, wobei Angehörige des Meeresvolkes aus derselben Region große Ähnlichkeit miteinander haben. Sie können problemlos Luft atmen, bewegen sich aber an Land nur sehr schwer voran, so dass sie nur selten längere Zeit außerhalb des Wassers verbringen. Als Volk leben sie abgeschieden und sind misstrauisch, während Individuen – insbesondere Abenteurer – aus dem Klischee oft ausbrechen und recht beredsam sein können. Angehörige des Meervolkes beschäftigen sich mehr mit der Natur und den Künsten, als über Moral und Ethik zu diskutieren, so dass sie stark zu einer neutralen Gesinnung neigen.

Alternative Volksmerkmale

Die folgenden Volksmerkmale können anstelle der existierenden Meervolk-Volksmerkmale ausgewählt werden. Sprich dies vorher mit deinem SL ab.

Dunkelsicht: Manche Angehörige des Meervolkes bevorzugen die lichtlosen Tiefen gegenüber seichteren Gewässern. Sie haben die Volksmerkmale Dunkelsicht[link5] 18 m und Lichtempfindlichkeit. Dieses Volksmerkmal ersetzt Dämmersicht[link6].

Kräftige Flosse: Ein paar Angehörige des Meervolkes besitzen breite, kräftige Flossen, die besser für Reisen an Land geeignet sind als der typische Fischschwanz. Diese Angehörigen des Meervolkes besitzen eine Bewegungsrate (an Land) 4,50 m und eine Bewegungsrate (Schwimmen[link2]) 9 m.

Meeresstimme: Die wunderschönen Stimmen der Angehörigen des Meervolkes sind legendär. Besitzt man dieses Volksmerkmal, so erhält man einen Volksbonus von +2 auf Fertigkeitswürfe[link7] für Auftreten (Gesang)[link8] und einen Volksbonus von +1 auf den SG von Rettungswürfen[link9] gegen sprachabhängige Zauber. Dieses Volksmerkmal ersetzt Dämmersicht[link6].


Optionen zur Bevorzugten Klasse

Die folgenden Optionen stehen allen Angehörigen des Meervolkes mit den aufgeführten bevorzugten Klassen zur Verfügung. Sofern nicht anders aufgeführt, findet der Bonus jedes Mal Anwendung, wenn du eine Stufe in deiner bevorzugten Klasse aufsteigst und diese Option wählst.

Druide: Addiere +1 TP zu den TP des Tiergefährten[link10] des Druiden[link11]. Sollte der Angehörige des Meervolkes seinen Tiergefährten[link10] jemals ersetzen, erhält der neue Tiergefährte[link10] diesen Bonustrefferpunkt ebenfalls.

Hexenmeister: Addiere +1/2 zur Zauberstufe[link12] des Hexenmeisters[link13] bei der Bestimmung der Reichweite aller seiner Zauber der Kategorie Wasser.

Waldläufer: Addiere +1 TP zu den TP des Tiergefährten[link10] des Waldläufers[link1]. Sollte der Angehörige des Meervolkes seinen Tiergefährten[link10] jemals ersetzen, erhält der neue Tiergefährte[link10] diesen Bonustrefferpunkt ebenfalls.


Volksarchetypen

Angehörige des Meervolkes können den folgenden Volksarchetypen wählen:

Wellenwächter (Waldläufer[link1])

Die Wellenwächter patrouillieren unter den Wellen und erhalten die Sicherheit und die Geheimnisse der Meervolkansiedlungen. Obwohl er am besten unter Wasser zurechtkommt, finden seine Gegner auch an Land keine Zuflucht.

Unterwasserwahrnehmung (AF[link14]): Ein Wellenwächter addiert seine halbe Stufe (Minimum +1) auf Fertigkeitswürfe[link7] für Wahrnehmung[link15], um Kreaturen unter Wasser zu bemerken. Dieses Klassenmerkmal ersetzt Spuren lesen[link16].

Aquatisches Kampfstiltalent (AF[link14]): Mit der 2. Stufe und dann alle weiteren vier Stufen wählt ein Wellenwächter ein Bonustalent, welches sein kämpferisches Können in aquatischer Umgebung[link17] verbessert. Er kann diese Talente sogar auswählen, wenn er nicht die Voraussetzungen erfüllt. Zu Beginn kann er aus den folgenden Talenten auswählen: Ausweichen[link18], Beweglichkeit[link19], Kampf mit zwei Waffen[link20], Präzisionsschuss[link21], Schnelles Nachladen[link22] PF Grundregelwerk[link23]); Netzkämpfer[link24], Netzmanöver[link25], Netz[link26] und Dreizack[link27] (PF Ausbauregeln II: Kampf[link28]) und Wasserkampf (s.u.). Mit der 6. Stufe fügt er Tänzelnder Angriff[link29], Verbesserter Kampf mit zwei Waffen[link30] (PF GRW) und Netztricks[link31] (PF Ausbauregeln II: Kampf[link28]) der Liste hinzu. Mit der 10. Stufe kann er zusätzlich unter folgenden Talenten auswählen: Mächtiger Kampf mit zwei Waffen[link32] und Verbesserter Präzisionsschuss[link33]. Dieses Klassenmerkmal funktioniert ansonsten wie und ersetzt die üblichen Kampfstil[link34] Bonustalente eines Waldläufers[link1], die Einschränkungen hinsichtlich Rüstung eingeschlossen.

Bevorzugtes Gelände (AF[link14]): Mit der 3. Stufe erhält ein Wellenwächter Wasser als Bevorzugtes Gelände[link35]. Mit der 8. Stufe und dann alle weiteren fünf Stufen steigt der Bonus in aquatischem Gelände um +2. Er erhält keine weiteren Bevorzugten Gelände. Dies funktioniert ansonsten wie und ersetzt das normale Waldläufer[link1]-Klassenmerkmal Bevorzugtes Gelände[link35].

Kind der See (AF[link14]): Mit der 7. Stufe kann sich ein Wellenwächter durch jede Art aquatischen Wachstums (z.B. Korallen und Algen) und über jede feuchte Oberfläche mit normaler Bewegungsrate fortbewegen, ohne Schaden zu erleiden oder behindert zu werden. Hindernisse, die verzaubert oder magisch manipuliert wurden, um die Fortbewegung zu behindern, wirken immer noch gegen ihn. Dieses Klassenmerkmal ersetzt Unterholz durchqueren[link36].

Verbündeten des Meeres herbeizaubern (ZF[link37]): Mit der 8. Stufe kann ein Wellenwächter einmal pro Tag im Zuge einer Vollen Aktion Verbündete herbeizaubern. Dies funktioniert wie Verbündeten der Natur herbeizaubern III[link38], kann aber nur Kreaturen der Unterarten[link39] Aquatisch[link3] oder Wasser herbeizaubern. Mit der 11. Stufe funktioniert dieses Klassenmerkmal wie Verbündeten der Natur herbeizaubern IV[link38], mit der 14. wie Verbündeten der Natur herbeizaubern V[link38], mit der 17. wie Verbündeten der Natur herbeizaubern VI[link38] und mit der 20. Stufe wie Verbündeten der Natur herbeizaubern VII[link38]. Die Zauberstufe[link12] des Wellenwächters entspricht seiner Waldläuferstufe. Dieses Klassenmerkmal ersetzt Schneller Verfolger[link40].


Neue Volksregeln

Die folgenden Optionen stehen Angehörigen des Meervolkes zur Verfügung. Mit Genehmigung des SL können auch andere, passende Völker einige davon nutzen.

Leichte Unterwasserarmbrust: Eine leichte Unterwasserarmbrust funktioniert über Wasser genauso wie ihr normales Gegenstück und kann auch unter Wasser eingesetzt werden. Wenn sie unter Wasser abgefeuert wird, so besitzt die Armbrust[link50] eine Grundreichweite von 6 m. Wer mit einer üblichen leichten Armbrust[link50] umgehen kann, kann auch die leichte Unterwasserarmbrust einsetzen.


Schwere Unterwasserarmbrust: Über Wasser funktioniert diese Waffe genauso wie eine schwere Armbrust[link50]. Man kann sie auch unter Wasser einsetzen, wo ihre Grundreichweite 6 m beträgt. In Bezug auf Waffenumgang und besondere Eigenschaften gilt sie als schwere Armbrust[link50]


Talente des Meervolkes

Angehörige des Meervolkes haben Zugang zum folgenden Talent:

Wasserkampf


Deine Schläge bringen schwimmende Gegner aus dem Gleichgewicht


Voraussetzungen: Defensive Kampfweise[link51], Meervolk.
Vorteil: Wenn du ein schwimmendes Ziel erfolgreich im Nahkampf angreifst, kannst du im Zuge einer Freien Aktionen[link52] versuchen, es aus dem Gleichgewicht zu bringen. Behandle dies als ein Kampfmanöver[link53] für Zu-Fall-bringen[link4]. Bei Erfolg ist das Ziel aus dem Gleichgewicht (siehe Tabelle Regelanpassungen für Unterwasserkämpfe[link54]), bis es sein Gleichgewicht zurückerlangt – hierzu legt es in der Regel während seines Zuges einen Fertigkeitswurf[link7] für Schwimmen[link2] ab. Sollte das Ziel über eine Bewegungsrate[link55] (Schwimmen[link2]) verfügen, die Vorteile des Zaubers Bewegungsfreiheit[link56] oder einem ähnlichen Effekt genießen bzw. immun gegen Zu-Fall-bringen[link4] sein, so hat dieses Talent keinen Effekt auf diese Kreatur.

Angehörige des Meervolkes haben Zugang zu dem folgenden Zauber:

Du verwandelt die Flossen oder den Schwanz des Zieles in Beine und Füße, so dass es sich an Land bewegen kann. Es verliert seine Bewegungsrate[link55] (Schwimmen[link2]), erlangt aber an Land eine Bewegungsrate[link55] passend für einen Humanoiden seiner Größe (d.h. eine Bewegungsrate[link55] von 9 m bei mittelgroßen und größeren Kreaturen und Bewegungsrate von 6 m bei kleinen Kreaturen). Sollte die Kreatur für 1 Runde in Wasser eingetaucht werden, kehrt dies die Verwandlung um, so dass sie wieder normal schwimmen kann. Eine Runde nach Verlassen des Wassers tritt die Verwandlung wieder ein und gestattet ihm zu gehen.


Dieser Zauber funktioniert nur bei Angehörigen des Meervolkes, Tritonen, Robben, Fischen und anderen Kreaturen, deren Leiber oder Gliedmaßen hauptsächlich zum Schwimmen[link2] genutzt werden und nicht zum Laufen geeignet sind. Er verleiht dem Ziel nicht die Fähigkeit Luft zu atmen.
