Automatische Bonusentwicklung


Um sich den Gefahren des Spieles stellen zu können, benötigen Charaktere im Pathfinder-Rollenspiel normalerweise Gegenstände, welche ihnen Boni auf die Spielwerte verschaffen. Bei der hier vorgestellten Regelvariante erhalten Charaktere diese Boni stattdessen automatisch im Rahmen des Stufenaufstieges, so dass sie Ausrüstungsplätze für interessantere Gegenstände verwenden können. Alle Charaktere erhalten mit Erreichen der entsprechenden Stufen die in der folgenden Tabelle aufgeführten Fähigkeiten. Halbiere das Charaktervermögen nach Stufe[link1]. Diese automatischen Boni bringen in der Regel mehr Vorteile als aus dem einbehaltenen Vermögen. Allerdings besitzen Charaktere zugleich weniger Flexibilität, so dass sich Vor- und Nachteile gegenseitig ausgleichen. Unter dieser Regelvariante gibt es keine Gegenstände, welche Boni auf RK, Rettungswürfe oder Attributswerte verleihen. Ebenso verleihen Wunsch und ähnliche Zauber niemals innewohnende Boni auf Attributswerte. Magische Waffen und Rüstungen existieren, verleihen aber nur besondere Fähigkeiten und keine Verbesserungsbonus – berechne ihre Preise anhand der Tabelle.

Falls du magische Gegenstände gänzlich entfernen oder derart selten gestalten willst, dass es eigentlich keine Chance gibt, welche zu finden, dann überlege, ob du Charakteren Boni verleihen willst, als wären sie 2 Stufen höher – aus diesem Grunde deckt die Tabelle auch die Stufen 21 und 22 ab.

Boni

Die folgenden Einträge beschreiben die Boni, welche Charaktere erhalten:

Abhärtung

Mit der 8.Stufe erhält der Charakter einen Verbesserungsbonus von +1 auf seine Natürliche Rüstung. Dieser Bonus steigt mit der 13. Stufe auf +2, mit der 16. Stufe auf +3, mit der 17. Stufe auf +4 und mit der 18. Stufe auf +5.

Ablenkung

Mit der 5. Stufe erhält der Charakter einen Ablenkungsbonus von +1 auf seine RK[link2]. Dieser Bonus steigt mit der 10. Stufe auf +2, mit der 16. Stufe auf +3, mit der 17. Stufe auf +4 und mit der 18. Stufe auf +5.

Geisteskraft

Mit der 6. Stufe wählt der Charakter unter seinen mentalen Attributen (Intelligenz[link3], Weisheit[link4] oder Charisma[link5]) eines aus, welches einen permanenten Verbesserungsbonus von +2 erhält. Mit der 11. Stufe steigt dieser Bonus auf +4. Mit der 13. Stufe wählt der Charakter ein zweites mentales Attribut aus, welches einen permanenten Verbesserungsbonus von +2 erhält. Mit der 15. Stufe steigt einer dieser Verbesserungsboni um 2. Mit der der 17. Stufe wählt der Charakter ein drittes mentales Attribut aus, welches einen permanenten Verbesserungsbonus von +2 erhält.

Körperkraft

Mit der 7. Stufe wählt der Charakter unter seinen körperlichen Attributen (Stärke[link6], Geschicklichkeit[link7] oder Konstitution[link8]) eines aus, welches einen permanenten Verbesserungsbonus von +2 erhält. Mit der 12. Stufe steigt dieser Bonus auf +4. Mit der 13. Stufe wählt der Charakter ein zweites körperliches Attribut aus, welches einen permanenten Verbesserungsbonus von +2 erhält. Mit der 16. Stufe steigt einer dieser Verbesserungsboni um 2. Mit der der 17. Stufe wählt der Charakter ein drittes körperliches Attribut aus, welches einen permanenten Verbesserungsbonus von +2 erhält.

Legendäre Gaben

Mit der 19. Stufe erhält der Charakter drei Legendäre Gaben und mit der 20. Stufe fünf weitere. (Solltest du die Variante nutzen, bei welcher keine magischen Schätze im Spiel zu finden sind, erhalten Charaktere sieben weitere Legendäre Gaben mit einer effektiven Stufe von 21 und nochmals acht mit Erreichen der 22. Stufe).
Wähle diese Legendäre Gaben von der folgenden Liste:
Legendäre Rüstung: Dein Verbesserungsbonus aus Rüstungsnutzung steigt um 2. Solltest du dich auf eine Rüstung und einen Schild eingestimmt haben, kannst du entweder beide Boni um 1 oder einen Bonus um 2 erhöhen. Der Verbesserungsbonus eines eingestimmten Gegenstandes kann maximal +5 erreichen. Du kannst den Überschuss aber zum Erwerb von besonderen Fähigkeiten für deine Rüstung oder deinen Schild nutzen (siehe „Magische Waffen und Rüstungen“). Du kannst diese Legendäre Gabe mehrfach erwerben; eine Rüstung oder ein Schild kann maximal einen Bonus von +10 erlangen.
Legendäre Waffe: Dein Verbesserungsbonus aus Waffennutzung steigt um 1. Solltest du auf mehr als eine Waffe eingestimmt sein, kannst du auf diese Weise nur den Verbesserungsbonus einer dieser Waffen erhöhen. Der Verbesserungsbonus eines eingestimmten Gegenstandes kann maximal +5 erreichen. Du kannst den Überschuss aber zum Erwerb von besonderen Fähigkeiten für deine Waffe nutzen (siehe „Magische Waffen und Rüstungen“). Du kannst diese Legendäre Gabe mehrfach erwerben; eine Waffe kann maximal einen Bonus von +10 erlangen.
Legendäre Zwillingswaffen: Erhalte einen Verbesserungsbonus von +5 durch Waffennutzung, wenn du zwei Waffen gleichzeitig einsetzt. Dies zählt als zwei Legendäre Gaben. Du kannst diese Legendäre Gabe mehrfach wählen, musst sie aber jedes Mal einer anderen Waffe zuweisen, welche einen Verbesserungsbonus von +5 erhält.
Legendärer Geist 1: Erhöhe deine Boni aus Geisteskraft auf +6/+6/+4. Dies zählt als zwei Legendäre Gaben.
Legendärer Geist 2: Erhöhe deine Boni aus Geisteskraft auf +6/+6/+6. Du musst über die Gabe Legendärer Geist 1 verfügen, um diese Legendäre Gabe wählen zu können.
Legendärer Leib 1: Erhöhe deine Boni aus Körperkraft auf +6/+6/+4. Dies zählt als zwei Legendäre Gaben.
Legendärer Leib 2: Erhöhe deine Boni aus Körperkraft auf +6/+6/+6. Du musst über die Gabe Legendärer Leib 1 verfügen, um diese Legendäre Gabe wählen zu können.
Legendärer Schildmeister: Erhalte einen Verbesserungsbonus von +5 durch Rüstungsnutzung für deine Rüstung und deinen Schild. Du kannst diese Legendäre Gabe mehrfach wählen, musst sie aber jedes Mal einer anderen Rüstung oder einem anderen Schild zuweisen.
Legendäres Attribut: Erhalte einen innewohnenden Bonus von +1 auf einen Attributswert deiner Wahl. Du kannst diese Legendäre mehrfach wählen, aber nur maximal 5 Mal pro Attribut.

Resistenz

Mit der 3. Stufe erhält ein Charakter einen Ablenkungsbonus von +1 auf alle Rettungswürfe[link9]. Dieser Bonus steigt mit der 8. Stufe auf +2, mit der 10. Stufe auf +3, mit der 13. Stufe auf +4 und mit der 14. Stufe auf +5.

Rüstungsnutzung

Der Charakter kann sich auf eine Rüstung oder einen Schild in seinem Besitz einstimmen; diese Einstimmung kann er einmal am Tag ändern. Sollte er einen Satz normaler Kleidung als seine Rüstung wählen, zählt diese, als besäße sie einen Anfangsverbesserungsbonus von +0. Die eingestimmte Rüstung erhält mit der 4. Stufe einen Verbesserungsbonus von +1. Mit der 8. Stufe kann er seine Einstimmung auf eine Rüstung und einen Schild verteilen, so dass beide einen Verbesserungsbonus von jeweils +1 erhalten. Mit der 9. Stufe kann er einer Rüstung oder einem Schild einen Verbesserungsbonus von +2 verleihen, statt jedem einen Bonus von +1 zu verleihen. Mit der 14. Stufe kann er einer Rüstung oder einem Schild einen Verbesserungsbonus von +3 oder beiden einen Verbesserungsbonus von +2 verleihen. Mit der 15. Stufe kann er einer Rüstung oder einem Schild einen Verbesserungsbonus von +4 oder beiden einen Verbesserungsbonus von +3 verleihen. Mit der 17. Stufe kann er einer Rüstung oder einem Schild einen Verbesserungsbonus von +5 oder dem einem einen Verbesserungsbonus von +4 und dem anderen einen Verbesserungsbonus von +3 verleihen.

Waffennutzung

Der Charakter kann sich auf eine Waffe in seinem Besitz einstimmen; diese Einstimmung kann er einmal am Tag ändern. Die eingestimmte Waffe erhält mit der 4. Stufe einen Verbesserungsbonus von +1. Mit der 8. Stufe kann er seine Einstimmung auf zwei Waffen verteilen, so dass beide einen Verbesserungsbonus von jeweils +1 erhalten. Mit der 9. Stufe kann er einer Waffe einen Verbesserungsbonus von +2 verleihen, statt zweien einen Bonus von jeweils +1 zu verleihen. Mit der 14. Stufe kann er einer Waffe einen Verbesserungsbonus von +3 oder zwei Waffen einen Verbesserungsbonus von +2 verleihen. Mit der 15. Stufe kann er einer Waffe einen Verbesserungsbonus von +4 oder zwei Waffen einen Verbesserungsbonus von +3 verleihen. Mit der 17. Stufe kann er einer Waffe einen Verbesserungsbonus von +5 oder einer Waffe einen Verbesserungsbonus von +4 und einer anderen einen Verbesserungsbonus von +3 verleihen.

Magische Waffen und Rüstungen

Bei Nutzung dieses Systems besitzen magische Waffen, Rüstungen und Schilde niemals eigene Verbesserungsboni. Stattdessen erhalten sie derartige Boni über Einstimmung im Rahmen der Fähigkeiten Rüstungs- und Waffennutzung. Alle besonderen Eigenschaften eingestimmter Waffen, Rüstungen und Schild zählen gegen den Verbesserungsbonus, den ein Charakter auf diese Weise erlangt. Zum Bestimmen des Verbesserungsbonus eines eingestimmten magischen Gegenstandes ziehe die Kosten seiner besonderen Fähigkeiten vom über Einstimmung erlangten Verbesserungsbonus ab (dies gilt nur für besondere Eigenschaften, deren Kosten einem Verbesserungsbonus entsprechen, nicht aber für jene mit in Goldmünzen definierte Kosten). Beispiel: Ein Charakter mit einem Krummsäbel[link10], für den er durch Waffennutzung einen Verbesserungsbonus von +3 erlangt hat, und welcher die besondere Eigenschaft Schärfe[link11] besitzt, verbraucht dafür einen Punkt des Bonus, so dass es sich um einen Krummsäbel der Schärfe +2 handelt. Sollte ein Charakter nicht über einen ausreichend hohen Verbesserungsbonus verfügen, um sich eine besondere Eigenschaft leisten zu können (z.B. ein Charakter mit einem Langschwert der Hinrichtung[link12]), kann er diese besondere Eigenschaft zwar nutzen, der Waffe aber keinen Verbesserungsbonus verleihen.

Unter diesem System kosten bonusäquivalente besondere Eigenschaften deutlich weniger, da du nur für die besondere Fähigkeit bezahlst, nicht für den Grundverbesserungbonus (siehe auch die folgende Tabelle). Um den Preis einer bestimmten Waffe oder Rüstung zu bestimmen, streichst du den normalen Verbesserungsbonus und ziehst die dafür in der Tabelle aufgeführten Kosten ab. Beispiel: Eine Flammenzunge[link13]ARK kostet normalerweise 20.715 GM. Unter diesem System verliert sie aber ihren Verbesserungsbonus von +1, so dass ihr Preis auf 18.715 GM fällt. Ein Charakter kann sich auf spezifische Waffen und Rüstungen einstimmen, so dass er dann normal seine Verbesserungsboni verteilen kann, die er über Rüstungsnutzung und Waffennutzung erlangt.
