Anteilige Boni


Nach dem Grundregelwerk erstellte Charaktere mit Stufen in mehreren Klassen haben bei ihren Spielwerten leichte Nachteile. Das alternative System für Anteilige Grundboni soll solchen Charakteren helfen, ihr volles Potential zu erreichen, so dass sie hinter ihren „Kollegen“, welche nur eine Klasse verfolgen, nicht zurückstecken müssen. Es eignet sich bestens im Rahmen von Kampagnen, bei denen mehrere Charaktere Stufen in mehreren Klassen wählen, insbesondere wenn stark unterschiedliche Klassen oder Prestigeklassen betroffen sind.

Die Grundangriffsboni und Rettungswurfgrundboni des Grundregelwerkes steigen zwar anteilig an, werden jedoch abgerundet. Es macht keinen Sinn, einen Grundangriffsbonus von +6 ½ von einem Grundangriffsbonus von +6 zu unterscheiden, da ein Charakter so oder so bei einer gewürfelten 11 eine RK[link1] von 17 treffen und bei einer 10 verfehlen würde. Um die Dinge zu erleichtern, wird daher seit jeher gerundet, schließlich macht es bei Charakteren mit jeweils nur einer Charakterklasse wirklich keinen Unterschied. Bei Charakteren mit mehreren Klassen führt es oft aber zu einem zu niedrigen Grundangriffsbonus und nicht ausbalancierten Rettungswurfgrundboni. Die folgende Variante basiert statt auf den Tabellen selbst auf den Formeln, welche der Klassenprogression zugrunde liegen und generiert zutreffendere Grundboni für Charaktere mit mehreren Klassen.

Beispiel: Ein Magier[link2] 1/Schurke[link3] 1 verfügt über einen Grundangriffsbonus (GAB) von +0, da ein Magier[link2] der 1. Stufe einen GAB von +0 besitzt und ein Schurke[link3] der 1. Stufe ebenfalls, die Summe also +0 ergäbe – dies ist ein schlechterer GAB als ihn ein Magier[link2] oder ein Schurke[link3] der 2. Stufe besäße. Dieser Umstand resultiert daraus, dass in den Progressionstabellen abgerundet wurde, ehe dann addiert wurde. Theoretisch besitzt ein Magier[link2] der 1. Stufe einen GAB von +1/2 und ein Schurke der 1. Stufe einen GAB von +3/4. Würde das Ergebnis von +1 ¼ erst nach dem Addieren abgerundet werden, besäße der Charakter einen GAB von +1, wie es bei einem Magier[link2] oder Schurke[link3] der 2. Stufe der Fall wäre.

* Sofern die Summe eines Rettungswurfs wenigstens eine gute Progression für Rettungswürfe enthält, addiere einmalig +2 auf das Endergebnis.

Grundangriffsbonus

Es gibt im System von Pathfinder drei Progressionen beim Grundangriffsbonus: Klassen mit einem W6-Trefferwürfel erhöhen ihren GAB um +1/2 pro Stufe. Klassen mit einem W8-Trefferwürfel erhöhen ihren GAB um +3/4 pro Stufe. Und Klassen mit einem W10- oder W12-Trefferwürfel erhöhen ihren GAB um +1 pro Stufe – in diesem letzten Fall muss also nicht gerundet werden. Der Grundangriffsbonus eines Charakters mit mehreren Klassen wird sich bei Nutzung dieser Regelvariante im Vergleich folglich fast immer verbessern.
Beispiel: Ein Magier[link2] 9/Schurke[link3] 2 besäße gemäß des Grundregelwerkes einen GAB von +5: +4 aufgrund seiner Magierstufen und +1 durch seine Schurkenstufen. Nach dem System für Anteilige Boni besäße er hingegen einen GAB von +6: +4 ½ aufgrund seiner Magierstufen und +1 ½ durch seine Schurkenstufen. Dies würde genügen, um einen zweiten Angriff mit einem Bonus von +1 zu erlangen.

Rettungswurfgrundboni

Es gibt nur zwei Arten der Progression bei den Rettungswurfgrundboni: gute Rettungswurfgrundboni und schlechte Rettungswurfgrundboni. Gute Rettungswürfe steigen um +1/2 pro Stufe, schlechte Rettungswürfe steigen um +1/3 pro Stufe. Außerdem beginnen gute Rettungswürfe auf einem höheren Wert, da sie im Grunde einen zusätzlichen Bonus von +2 enthalten. Gemäß dem Grundregelwerk sind diese zusätzlichen Boni bei Charakteren mit mehreren Klassenstufen kumulativ, so dass ein Barbar[link4] 1/Kämpfer[link5] 1 einen Zähigkeitsgrundbonus von +4 besäße, während seine Reflex- und Willenswürfe stagnieren. Dieser höhere Startwert soll aber eigentlich ähnlich wie der Bonus von +3 auf aktivierte Klassenfertigkeiten funktionieren, d.h. eigentlich soll er pro Rettungswurfkategorie nur ein Mal anfallen, egal über wie viele Klassen ein Charakter verfügt. Bei Verwendung dieses Variantensystems ist daher der Bonus von +2, den ein Charakter der 1. Stufe auf einen guten Rettungswurf erhält, nicht mehr kumulativ, wenn der Charakter über mehrere Klassen verfügt, welche dieselben guten Rettungswürfe besitzen, so dass die stärksten Rettungswürfe eines Charakters durchaus sinken können. Die Verbesserungen bei den schlechten Rettungswürfen gleichen dies in der Regel aber aus, zudem ist es weniger wahrscheinlich, dass Charaktere mit mehreren Klassen im Vergleich zu solchen mit nur einer Klasse über unglaublich hohe oder abgrundtief niedrige Rettungswurfgrundboni verfügen.

Wenn du die einzelnen Rettungswurfboni berechnest, dann bestimme zuerst, welche der Klassen deines Charakters wo über die gute und wo über die schlechte Grundbonusprogression verfügen. Sollte der Bonus auf der 1. Stufe +2 betragen, erkennst du daran die gute Progression, während du die schlechte Progression an einem Bonus von +0 erkennst. Bestimme den Anteiligen Bonus für jede Klasse anhand Tabelle: Anteilige Boni nach Klassenstufe nach Stufe und Art der Progression (gut oder schlecht). Addiere die Werte für alle Klassen. Sollte bei einer Summe die gute Progression wenigstens ein Mal vertreten sein, dann addiere einmalig +2 hinzu.
Beispiel: Ein Kämpfer 2/Kleriker 5 besäße normalerweise einen Reflexgrundbonus von +1, einen Willensgrundbonus von +4 und einen Zähigkeitsgrundbonus von +7. Bei Nutzung dieser Regelvariante besäße derselbe Charakter einen Reflexbonus von +2 (2 1/3, abgerundet), einen Willensbonus von +5 (5 1/6, abgerundet) und einen Zähigkeitsbonus von +5 (5 ½, abgerundet).

Nach den Regeln des Grundregelwerkes steigen Prestigeklassen mit derselben Geschwindigkeit auf wie Basisklassen, besitzen aber abweichende Klassenboni. Diese angepassten Boni sollten abgerundete Werte bei den Basisklassen ausgleichen, da man die einer Prestigeklasse in der Regel nur im Rahmen der Kombination mehrerer Klassen angehören kann, indem man Stufen in wenigstens einer Basisklasse und der Prestigeklasse selbst wählt (oder über Volks-Trefferwürfel verfügt). Da das System für Anteilige Grundboni sich dieser Bruchzahlen bereits annimmt, verwendest du auch für Prestigeklassen Tabelle: Anteilige Boni nach Klassenstufe. Um festzustellen, ob eine Prestigeklasse über eine gute Progression für Rettungswurfgrundboni verfügt, wirf einen Blick auf die Rettungswurfboni der 1. Stufe – sollte ein Bonus dort +1 betragen, handelt es sich um eine gute Progression, beträgt er +0, handelt es sich um eine schlechte Progression.

Boni nach Stufe

Die Tabelle auf dieser Seite enthält Anteilige Werte für Grundangriffswurfboni und Grundrettungswurfboni. Um die Gesamtgrundboni bei Charakteren mit mehreren Klassen zu bestimmen, berechnest du die Anteiligen Werte für jede Klasse des jeweiligen Charakters bei jeder Kategorie und addierst sie dann. Es sei an dieser Stelle angemerkt, das z.B. +1-1/2 sich anders geschrieben 1,5, +3-3/4 entsprechend +3,75 und +4-1/4 sich dann +4,25 liest. Man rechnet also anteilig mit Viertelund halben Punkten.

Diese Regel betrifft nur Charaktere mit mehreren Klassen. Die Anzahl der Angriffe, welche ein solcher Charakter pro Runde im Rahmen eines Vollen Angriffs ausführen kann, bestimmt sich aus der Summe der Anteiligen Grundangriffsboni für jede seiner Klassen. Daher führt die Tabelle auch keine mehrfachen Angriffe auf, über welche Charaktere mit einem GAB von +6 oder höher eigentlich verfügen. Vergiss nur nicht, dass ein Charakter jeweils einen weiteren Angriff erlangt, wenn sein Gesamt-GAB +6, +11 und +16 erreicht.
Beispiel: Ein Kämpfer[link5] 11/Schurke[link3] 9 besäße einen GAB von +17 (+11 plus +6 ¾ = 17 ¾, abgerundet) und drei zusätzliche Angriffe mit +12, +7 und +2.
