Infernalischer Ritter-Signifer (Prestigeklasse)


Infernalische Ritter-Signiferi bilden den zaubernden Arm der infernalischen Ritter-Signiferorden. Sie sind die gesichtslosen Vollstrecker des Gesetzes und nutzen ihre magischen Kräfte, um Kriminelle aufzuspüren und gemäß den unbarmherzigen Buchstaben des Gesetzes zu bestrafen. Die Signiferi tragen Masken, welche oft keine Gesichtszüge oder Erkennungsmerkmale aufweisen, um sich als vorurteilsfreie Vertreter der Ordnung auszuweisen. Sie lassen sich weder von Empathie noch Gefühlen ablenken und bringen ihren unparteiischen Richtspruch über alle Gesetzesbrecher. Ihre Masken sind ein Symbol ihrer Treue für die Gebote der Ordnung und das Ausüben der Gerechtigkeit. Ferner dienen sie ihnen hinsichtlich diverser Kräfte als Fokus. Traditionell sind Signiferi arkane oder göttliche Zauberkundige. Da ein Signifer eine Rechtschaffene Gesinnung besitzen muss, verehren Kleriker, die diese Prestigeklasse wählen, in der Regel auch rechtschaffene Gottheiten. Trotz eines gewissens Trends hin zum Diabolismus werden die Ansichten eines Signifers zu Gut und Böse primär durch seinen Orden festgelegt. Ein mentalmagischer Zauberwirker könnte den Weg des Signifers beschreiten, allerdings ist derartiges bisher nur sehr selten vorgekommen. Da sich aber die Kunde von der Mentalmagie verbreitet und sie zunehmend Akzeptanz findet, könnte es bald auch mehr mentalmagische Signiferi geben.

Voraussetzungen

Um Stufe in dieser Prestigeklasse wählen zu können, muss ein Charakter die folgenden Voraussetzungen erfüllen:
Gesinnung: Jede Rechtschaffene
Umgang mit Rüstungen: Geübt im Umgang mit Mittelschweren Rüstungen.
Talente: Arkanes Rüstungstraining[link1] oder Kriegspriester[link2]ABR II
Fertigkeiten: Einschüchtern[link3] 2 Ränge, Wissen (Die Ebenen)[link4] 5 Ränge, Zauberkunde[link5] 5 Ränge
Zauber: Muss imstande sein, Zauber des 3. Grades zu wirken.
Speziell: Muss einen Teufel töten, der über mehr TW verfügt als der Charakter. Dieser Sieg muss von einem infernalischen Ritter bezeugt werden.

Klassenmerkmale

Ein infernalischer Ritter-Signifer besitzt die folgenden

Klassenmerkmale:
Umgang mit Waffen und Rüstungen: Ein Signifer ist geübt im Umgang mit Schwerer Rüstung und der bevorzugten Waffe seines Ordens.

Aura der Ordnung (AF): Die Stärke der Aura der Ordnung eines infernalischen Ritter-Signifers (siehe Rechtschaffenes entdecken[link10]) entspricht einer effektiven Klerikerstufe in Höhe seiner Charakterstufe.

Katechese (AF): Sollte ein infernalischer Ritter-Signifer über das Talent Kriegspriester[link2] verfügen, sind seine Stufen als infernalischer Ritter mit Stufe in anderen Klassen als göttlicher Zauberkundiger kumulativ hinsichtlich der Bestimmung der Effekte seiner Domänenkräfte, Inquisitionen und Mysterien. Dies verleiht ihm aber keine neuen Kräfte oder Fähigkeiten. Zudem erhält ein Signifer mit dem Talent Kriegspriester[link2] das Bonustalent Gesinnung fokussieren[link11] (Chaos); hinsichtlich des bei chaotischen Externaren geheilten oder verursachten Schadens und der Bestimmung des SG der Rettungswürfe zum Halbieren des Schadens werden seine Stufen als infernalischer Ritter-Signifer auf seine effektive Klerikerstufe addiert.

Orden: Mit der 1. Stufe schließt sich ein infernalischer Ritter-Signifer einem infernalischen Ritterorden an. Die verbreitetsten infernalischen Ritterorden und ihre bevorzugten Waffen sind: Geißel (Schwerer Streitkolben oder Peitsche), Gottklaue (Morgenstern), Kette (Flegel), Nagel (Lanze oder Hellebarde), Scheiterhaufen (Langschwert oder Peitsche) und Tor (Dolch).

Signifermaske (ÜF): Bei seiner Initiation erhält ein infernalischer Ritter-Signifer eine Maske, welche oft weder Augenlöcher, noch persönliche Erkennungsmerkmale aufweist. Diese Maske stört seine Sichtwahrnehmung nicht. Wenn er sie trägt, erhält er einen Kompetenzbonus von +2 auf Fertigkeitswürfe für Motiv erkennen[link8] und auf Rettungswürfe gegen Zauber und Fähigkeiten, welche auf visuellen Effekten basieren.
Ein infernalischer Ritter-Signifer mit dem Klassenmerkmal Arkane Bindung (Gebundener Fokusgegenstand) kann ein spezielles Ritual aufwenden, welches 8 Stunden dauert und 500 GM kostet, um die Maske zu seinem neuen gebundenen Gegenstand zu machen. Die Maske belegt den Ausrüstungsplatz Kopf. Stufen als infernalischer Ritter-Signifer sind kumulativ mit Stufen in der Klasse, welche ihm das Klassenmerkmal Arkane Bindung verschafft hat, um zu bestimmen, welche zusätzlichen magischen Fähigkeiten der gebundene Gegenstand erhalten kann.

Arkane Rüstmeisterschaft: Mit der 2. Stufe erhält ein infernalischer Ritter-Signifer, der über das Talent Arkanes Rüstungstraining[link1] verfügt, das Bonustalent Arkane Rüstungsmeisterschaft[link12].
Mit der 5. Stufe kann er dieses Talent mit einer Augenblicklichen Aktion anstelle einer Schnellen Aktion einsetzen.

Signifer-Rüstungstraining: Mit der 3. Stufe und der 8. Stufe reduziert ein infernalischer Ritter-Signifer, welcher Rüstung trägt, den Rüstungsmalus jeweils um 1 (Minimum 0) und die Arkane Patzerchance jeweils um 5%. Mit der 8. Stufe wird ferner eine Reduzierung der Bewegungsrate in Mittlerer oder Schwerer Rüstung um 1,50 m gesenkt.

Beharrlicher Blick: Mit der 4. Stufe und der 7. Stufe erhält ein infernalischer Ritter-Signifer eine Fähigkeit von der unten folgenden Liste. Er kann jede dieser Fähigkeiten, über die er verfügt, täglich für eine Anzahl von Runden in Höhe seiner ½ Klassenstufe einsetzen; diese Runden müssen nicht zusammenhängend sein. Ein infernalischer Ritter-Signifer kann eine Beharrlicher-Blick-Fähigkeit als Schnelle Aktion aktivieren, um eine Kreatur, einen Gegenstand oder ein Feld von 1,50 m x 1,50 m innerhalb von 9 m Entfernung zu untersuchen. Er muss dabei seine Maske tragen. Seine Zauberstufe entspricht dabei seiner Charakterstufe.
Aufklärung (ÜF): Jeden auf dem Ziel aktiven Zauber inklusive Zaubereffekt und Zauberstufe bestimmen.
Aufmerksamkeit (ÜF): Blick durch bis zu 1,50 m Stein, Holz oder ähnliche Barrieren, als würden sie nicht existieren. Dieser Effekt kann keine Metalle durchdringen.
Aufrichtigkeit (ZF): Beobachte das Ziel, als würdest du Wahrer Blick[link13] einsetzen. Der infernalische Ritter-Signifer muss die 7. Stufe erreicht haben, ehe er diese Fähigkeit wählen kann.
Moral (ZF): Bestimme, ob das Ziel böse, chaotisch, gut oder rechtschaffen ist, sowie die Stärke seiner Aura, als hättest du sie 3 Runden lang mittels Böses entdecken[link14], Chaotisches entdecken[link15], Gutes entdecken[link16] und Rechtschaffenes entdecken[link10] studiert.
Prüfung (ÜF): Bestimme, ob das Ziel über Zauberähnliche Fähigkeiten oder die Gabe zu zaubern verfügt, ob es ein arkaner oder göttlicher Zauberkundiger ist und die Stärke (siehe Magie entdecken[link17]) des mächtigsten Zaubers oder der mächtigsten Zauberähnlichen Fähigkeit, welche das Ziel gegenwärtig verfügbar hat.

Lügen erkennen (ZF): Mit der 6. Stufe kann ein infernalischer Ritter Lügen erkennen[link18] als Zauberähnliche Fähigkeit täglich in Höhe seines CH-Modifikator +3 Runden lang einsetzen. Diese Runden müssen nicht fortdauernd sein. Seine effektive Zauberstufe entspricht seiner Charakterstufe.

Infernale Widerstandskraft (AF): Mit der 9. Stufe erhält ein infernalischer Ritter-Signifer SR 5/Chaotisches und wird immun gegen Gift.

Diabolischer Sendbote (ÜF): Mit der 10. Stufe erhält ein infernalischer Ritter-Signifer, solange er seine Maske trägt, Telepathie mit Reichweite 30 m und kann perfekt in magischer und gewöhnlicher Dunkelheit sehen. Wenn er seine Signifer-Maske trägt, ist er immun gegen Blindheit und Blendeffekte und erhält einen Bonus von +2 auf alle charismabezogenen Würfe, wenn er mit rechtschaffenen Kreaturen interagiert. Dieser Bonus steigt gegenüber rechtschaffenen Externaren auf +4.
